Extremely good kettle. I have a Morphy Richards, multicook and it’s serving me well for the last eight years. I needed a kettle for travel as some hotels have terrible kettles that give shock or leak. I just received the Black and Decker kettle, it’s beautiful and well designed. Stainless steel is very good quality. It’s light enough for travel. The kettle has auto switch off and a concealed heating element. The design is well thought out, the kettle handle remains cool after boiling water, unlike other kettles similar in design. The flap lid, clicks in place, so it doesn’t open when you pour the boiling water, preventing burns. I am writing after using this kettle for ten minutes. I hope it lasts like my Morphy Richards, so far it’s great. One issue is the base, the kettle doesn’t sit tight when boiling, it seems to be unsteady.

Yes this product is good. The speed of boiling water gives the impression somewhat slow. The lid does not have steel cover inside so you might mind the contact of plastic with the water. The vapour is coming out from the gap of the plastic lid. The cord length is alright. I hope the cord length can be adjusted with a few more small cut for the cord along with the circle of the base.

Been using for 5 years continuously without any trouble whatsoever.1) Good design2) Heating capacity OK....It will not burn the contents.3) Auto cutoff button position,good.4) Cord length a little small but OK as it will not entangle itself.5) Even after mistakenly kept the lid open and all water got evaporated still the auto cut off mechanism has saved the machine many times.

It's a decent product. Boils water quicker than other products out in the market. Only issue is, I'm afraid of rusting. A few weeks and I feel that it might get rust if I don't clean it regularly and keep it dry when not in use. I usually keep water inside so I can use it next time.

Its a very good kettle. Quality of the product is good. I had initially ordered for a butterfly kettle. It made a lot of noise while heating, the quality of plastic was bad and handle also was hot. The water smelt of burnt plastic. It started leaking from below the handle. I returned it and bought black and decker. Superb product.

Honestly, I'd recommend buying something a bit bigger, say 1.5L. 1L is quite small when it comes to handling hot water and a bit awkward when refilling and carrying around. Feels unsafe. Wish the design was a bit better, esp the handle. Happy with the overall performance and quality of the product but not satisfied with the design. Needs improvement while keeping safety above aesthetics in the list of priorities.
