GROHE Silverflex Non-Metallic Hose

Flexible, strong and very limber. Better than expected

This was bought to replace the standard hose to ease the maintenance of cleaning the regular type of hose. This should be easier to clean as it is smooth surface throughout the length of the hose. However, do note the hose is stiffer than it looks, at least mine is. Bathing with it is fine, i'm just particular about the way it hangs from the shower bar due to it's stiffness. Overall still a better hose and upgrade from previous standard issue.

This hose is very nice but different from the slinky corrugated hose I had. I'm sure it was designed for a shower but I ordered it as a replacement for my Grohe kitchen faucet and it did not fit through the faucet. It might be nice for a shower in that the smooth plastic hose would be easier to keep clean, but it is quite a bit stiffer than the standard metal hose.

This nonmetallic hose is long, 69" and hangs better than the Grohe metal clad hose. I have both but I like this one better than the metal clad one. Hopefully, it will last as long--my metal clad is 13 years years old and still works just fine. The new non metal clad, in a new bath refurb, is one month old. We shall see. The non metallic is a much better price. I have had a very good experience with Grohe plumbing fixtures. Amazon has usually had the best prices.

This is a great replacement hose, light, long, and flexible. Nice, inexpensive upgrade from our old, worn out hose. Super easy to install.

It was just perfect

We had this same hose for years and this was a replacement purchase as we had been pleased with the first. All easily installed without a hitch with a Grohe shower head.

This Grohe Silverflex Shower Hose is a great improvement over the metal-coiled shower hoses. It is far more flexible and much easier to clean. It was the perfect upgrade replacement for my old, leaky shower hose.
