Slim Fitted Standing Case for Amazon Fire HD 7, Pink

I just got a new Kindle HD7 so I purchased the Slim Case in pink. The case does what it says, fits snuggly, protects the screen and convert to a flip stand if you are using your Kindle to watch movies. I like how it puts the Kindle to sleep when closed and when you flip the cover open the Kindle wakes up. All of the features on the Kindle are easily reachable when the cover is on, the only drawback may be the volume button is slightly hard to adjust when the cover is open part way, you have to flip the front part completely over to reach the volume control comfortably.

I like it! I got the Pink colored one & it's a nice pink. The fit is good & like the one for my PW, it puts my Fire HD 7 to sleep when I close it & wakes it up when I open it.It is not a heavy duty case, but for around my house, the case is fine - if I were to take it out with me, I would put my Fire in the case & then put them in a Neoprene carrying tote thing that I have - just for some added protection, but I am really protective over my devices.The back of the case is hard plastic - the front is a thin covering - like the cardboard that cereal comes in. Very happy with my purchase & would recommend it to friends & family.

Just received it and now returning it. (I tried!) For an adult for the nightstand and something light it probably works fine, but when you have a device worth $150-200 or so I want it to be protected and this is strictly a cover and a little flimsy. Definitely not something that is kid-proof! I bought the new Kindle Fire 7 for my 9 year-old granddaughter and it won't last long with any child. I would highly recommend spending a few extra bucks and buy the Marware MicroShell Folio Lighweight Standing Case. Just bought my second one and my first one that is two years old is like it just came out of the box!! Again...if you strictly want a book cover I'm sure it is great!

Easy to use. Fits Kindle well. I love the screen feature that puts your Kindle into sleep mode whenever you close it. The case provides decent protection although I wouldn't recommend it for kids or anyone who has a habit of being rough on devices.The stand isn't always steady and it can take a minute or two to get it to sit right.Overall, I'm happy with it.

I wish to withdraw my original rating for this case. It did not seem to fit my 4th generation Fire HD 7 as advertised ; as its dimensionswere slightly smaller than the HD 7.Therefore I gave it a poor review. Later, I realized that the fit of the case had to be tight in orderto prevent the HD 7 from slipping loose. This time, I succeeded inserting the HD 7 into its case. Therefore, I publicly state I was inerror on my original review of this product and I am eating humble pie as a result!!!

fits our kindle perfectly, it has a hard cover (almost slick) We have had water dropped on it and it did protect the kindle. Ok it was not a lot of water, it was from a leaky sports bottle, but if it would have been directly on the kindle I think we would have had problems. This is used on the kids kindle so it gets lots of use. It has held up perfectly, would absolutely recommend for that added support. We have the blue and I love the color!

Fabulous item. I love the way it "wakes" my kindle up when I open it. Fits snug and tight. It holds the kindle up very well too when you fold the lid back and use it as a kick stand. The only draw back is the lid is a little flimsy when trying to hold it while taking photos.

Works well as a cover and protects the unit. I've dropped it once, and had no damage. Doesn't block the camera on the back and has vents for the Fire unit. My only issue is that I like to use a stylus (to minimize finger smudges), and there is no way to attach it.

You get what you pay for, this does what it says it will do, it will protect your kindle and keep it upright on a table.The problem is it won't do that for long, I've owned this about 2 months, keeping in mind I've done nothing particularly abusive with it, cant remember dropping it or knocking it in any notable way, but it is now thoroughly falling apart, the grip pads peeled off quickly leaving it to slide flat when i try and prop it up, and the plastic casing is cracking an chipping, soon it will no longer hold the kindle.ordered the official amazon one, now. last time I did (with a previous kindle) it served me dutifully for the 2 to 3 years i used that kindle, and was still fine.

This case fits snugly around the Fire HD 7 and gives it a more sturdy feel and the protection that it needs. It is great that when you close it that it switches the Fire off as well and re-opens it when you want to start again. There are air vents at the rear of the case so that the Fire doesn't overheat, and with it being designed specifically for the Fire HD 7, it has space for the rear camera. I would not hesitate in recommending this to all owners of the Fire HD 7.

It's slim and good looking (so was I, once),It automatically starts/closes the Fire when I open/shut the case.It gives good protection against bumps, protects the screen.It allows access to all the buttons, cameras, speakers, microphone, usb port and switch.It stands as well as many, better than most and is faff and fiddle-freeIt's not black so it's easy to find.WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?

Fits perfectly, sleep and wake functions great. Can charge whilst it is in the cover. No complaints here, love the colour!

Exactly as advertised. Fits precisely to the 4th Generation Kindle Fire and adds a good level of protection during day to day usage. It also means that i can now place this Kindle in a bag if i ever want to and the screen will not become scratched and damaged by other items.
