not dissapointed
Seems to be put together well, everything is lined up right doesnt wobble while turning on the maching the velcro holds strong to the pad your using, the foam is glued to the plastic well "no gaps" & the velcro to it. The threaded peice looks to be zink plated to me, everything ive seen that is zink plated is of mid to low quality but this is a small backing plate i cant imagine anybody using it for heavy duty work its exactly what i was looking for & is better than i expected it to be when it arived, am happy with the purchase & will buy another once ive killed it though i think ill have it for some time cause im just using it to polish plastics which is very easy to do

Not 5/8 threads
I ordered this same backing plate several months ago (on left in picture) and I’ve liked it so much, I decided to order another. My new one came in today (on right in picture) and it did not have 5/8-11 threads! I want my money back, and one sent to me that actually has the 5/8-11 threads. You know...like your listing claims this one is supposed to have.

Worked excellent for glass polishing with the Griot's garage glass polishing pads. Fit my DeWalt polisher like a charm and seemed to be of good quality.
