:: 4 Pretty Little Stars ::
Having read this entire series with the exception of the newest release (which is now live, SQUEE) I have to say that I feel like Angela is a close friend of mine. I have gone through this journey with her as she crossed the pond, found love, landed a great job, was blessed with an amazing cast of friends, and went through plenty of mishaps (which I might add, are simply hilarious). So it feels a little bittersweet that there is only one more book in the series (so far...). Sigh. I just love her and everyone within these stories that I don't want them to end. BUT, I am very glad I have read these books because they are a lot of fun.In this one, readers will find that the holidays- even though they are favorites of Angela's- are much more hectic than one would hope. With getting a prime position at her job, moving to a new home, and trying to keep her friends from making drastic and life changing decisions, Angela isn't taking it all so well. Even though she really, REALLY loves Christmas. Readers will take the plunge with Angela as she helps those in need and quietly cries about the everything going on around her... There will be fun. There will be laughter. And there will be many moments where you may want to drag yourself into the book and slap her, but it's all in good fun.Fans of the I Heart series, if you haven't read this one, you should! It's another perfect example of how chick lit novels should be read. If you haven't read the series and you love chick lit, this entire series is a must read! But make sure you read them in order as they need to be in order to understand the story line and events.

Amazing Christmas Story - Must Read!
It's been far too long since I have read a Lindsey Kelk book! My return to her work, I Heart Christmas, did not disappoint! What a fun read to finish my holiday books.Angela has always been one of my beloved characters. I loved her in I Heart New York, I Heart Vegas just to name a few. This poor British girl can never seem to keep herself away from drama or out of some sort of trouble! I thought once she married Alex maybe she would settle into life and things would run more smoothly, BOY WAS I WRONG!Angela is hoping to have the best Christmas ever in Brooklyn - but that may not be in the cards this season! The tree was a little bit of a surprise, she has had several surprise guests and Alex has surprised her as well. And what word has Alex brought up? The B word! You guessed it! BABY! He is ready to go, but what about poor Angela? There are twists and turns around each corner and you will love our beloved characters that join us in this fun Christmas tale - Jenny Lopez, Louisa, Alex, James and many more (oh and did I mention an evil character from her past may return, MY LIPS ARE SEALED)!Grab a bottle of wine, sit back and enjoy this wild and crazy ride! Lindsey does not disappoint!

The remaining books in the series are just more of the same dirty hair, vomiting and getting into trouble
Bought this series before reading the first book. What an expensive mistake. The main character, Angela, is just a mess for a 30 year old woman. She obviously has no time for personal hygiene (she is constantly talking about her filthy hair) because she is drinking to excess every night (cannot count the number of times she vomits). She is constantly acting irresponsibly with regard to her job and I cannot understand how she is still employed. It was very hard for me to have any empathy for this woman. The remaining books in the series are just more of the same dirty hair, vomiting and getting into trouble. OK for a 20 year old but really, at 30 you should know how to act. Never again will I read a book by this author.

Liked the story line
I enjoyed this book. I wish the book actually went through Christmas day but it is what it is. The storyline throughout the book was good, story kept moving and I kept wanting to read. I would say it was another successful book in the series!

I didn't even finish it.
I was expecting a chick lit Christmas story with laughs and tears but instead I get a story that was a little confusing from the beginning. Maybe it would be best to start with book one to familiarize myself with the characters. That might help me to understand this book better. I think I will put this away until I've read the first 5 books.

No thanks
I read 'i heart new York' by same author and liked it, so was excited to read this book. After a couple of chapters I donated it to goodwill. Just trashy, too much swearing, and a plot I was not at all able to be interested in.

Annoying characters
No one was likeable in this book. Hadn’t read the previous books but seemed like it relied on previous good Will towards them.

Loved it
I love it when you pick up a book and fall so much in love with it that it hurts to put it down, you have a constant craving to pick it back up again and feel the characters are as much a part of your life as your actual family. These are the feelings I got when I picked up I heart Christmas. Like going back into the waiting arms of a much loved family member. Of course it was full of the usual chaos and disasters that only Angela can find herself in but it felt so familar I got that warm and fuzzy feeling inside.I love christmas so being a christmas book is perfect. I LOVED all the festive descriptions in this book, it just made me want to decorate the tree and drink mulled wine 2 months early haha.I loved being back in the fold of our favourite characters and the drama that ensues. Of course sometimes we just want to reach into the pages and give them a good shake but it all helps to make the book so enjoyable.I absolutely loved reading this again and I am so excited to dive into I heart Forever for the first time.

this book should come with a government health warning....
I Heart Christmas written by Lindsey Kelk has written another extremely funny yet reality checking read based on our favourite runaway Angela Clarke. In this book Angela is living her best dream possible, as she has the job she always has dreamed off plus she is happily enjoying being the devoted and much-spoiled wife of Alex Reid the lead singer of The Stills.Angela might be the wife of Alex but this does not mean she has grown up in any way and that is including from the first moment we first met her in the first book of this very funny series of books. At times, Angela’s actions did frustrate me as the decisions she continued to make seemed to make no sense and her extremely overrated and hugely over indulged imagination gets her into more bother yet she never seems to learn from it. In this book, Angela has a couple of unexpected visitors which brings up a few arguments between Alex and Angela and a lot of walking off in a huff in Angela's part. (I did tell you she has not grown up yet). Jenny Lopez is still her sidekick and life has not changed much for her, though she is trying her best to grow up using measures which are beyond her control. One thing I will say about I Heart Christmas, this very funny read is full of alcohol, vomiting and a lot of eating rubbish, therefore, I do believe it should come with a government health warning!Lindsey Kelk has a gift of writing terrific comedy and in my honest opinion, she has written another extremely funny book which makes it very easy for me to recommend this book to all readers of very light-hearted fiction. This is Chick lit in the funniest of forms.Happy to recommend.

Perfect Festive Addition
Firstly if you haven't read all of the I Heart books then, I am disappointed in you. I think you should go to your room with said books and I do not want to see you until you have read them. This book was excellent. I have been super excited about this book since Lindsey first announced. For me reading an I heart book is like being with a friend you love but haven't seen for ages. Its excellent. Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year. The food, the music, the decorations... sorry I am easily distracted when it comes to Christmas. I am yet to spend a Christmas in New York but I will make it happen. after reading I heart Christmas I am going to have to start putting those pennies away for next year. It sounds truly magical.I love Angela. I have done since she first jumped on that plane and went to New York a sobbing mess and ended up under the wing of Ms Jenny Lopez. Sometimes I do wish she would talk to someone rather than bottling everything up and then ultimately exploding, but maybe that wouldn't make such an amazing book.I was extremely jealous of all the chrismtassy things that the gang experienced. Christmas is still a little way away but I am so ready for it this year. well except for the presents. obviously.Alex has to be the sweetest boyfriend/husband ever. As always he was fsntastic when Angela has her meltdown. I loved his Christmas present to Angela. It was great to see the gang altogether again Jenny, James, Louisa, Craig & Graham all joining in on the festivities. It was even great to have Cici back. A part of me really wants her to change...That could just be wishful thinking on my part though.I thought this was an excellent addition to the I Heart Series and I hope it won't be the last. I will absolutely be using the guide in the back of the book when I finally get myself a NY Christmas.

Christmas fairy tale of New York.
I totally fell in love with iHeart New York, the first in the iHeart series and I rushed to read the rest. When I reached the last one, I was left devastated. No more Angela, sexy men, crazy friends OR New York! When I found out that iHeart Christmas was coming out, I jumped up and down, clapped my hands and squealed like a girl (yes I am a girl but apparently that is up for discussion!) These are by far my favorite chick lit series. I have become a big fan of Lindsey and her way of writing and now I can safely say I have read every single one of her books and LOVED them. I stalk the internet waiting for news!I really couldn't wait to sink my teeth into iHeart Christmas and I wasn't left disappointed. In true Angela Clarke style, Christmas is anything but planned and she so reminds me of me. I am not sure if that is a good thing or not but bottom line is, you can't help but love this girl!So Angela has this perfect Christmas planned, her very own fairy tale of New York. She is like a kid in a toy shop and it's going to be brilliant. A week off work to spend with Alex and to do all the Christmassy things that you do in New York like ice skating and shopping and she cannot wait to put up the huge Christmas tree despite Alex telling her not yet! But of course, she is never going to get that, is she, because this is Angela and there is ALWAYS something that happens.... like surprise visits, falling out with friends, returning enemies, major changes at work and at home and Angela's head is all over the place but in true Angela fashion, things turn upside downside before turning UP again, thanks to her lovable husband Alex.I absolutely iHeart this book. The humor is back with a bang and it was fantastic to catch up with all the characters. It's like re visiting old friends. Angela is by far my favorite character just because she reminds me of me. Nothing ever goes to plan in my life and I am forever hurting myself. I'm not sure I like Jenny or not but she never fails to entertain and I love James Jacobs. He always puts a smile on my face, The ending was very soppy and romantic but we all want that, don't we? DON'T WE? I know I do!! This book had me wanting to jump on the next plane out to New York to spend Christmas there and I so would if I could afford it, believe me. Oh well, maybe one day *sigh*I really do hope there is more to come from the iHeart series. I would love to be there when Angela and Alex become parents. Now that would make some funny shit. I would also like to see Jenny settle down too and Angela's mum really does remind me of someone close to me.I give this fantastic festive read 5 gold shiny stars and recommend you read it NOW. Right now. Go on, what are you waiting for? Go download... You still here? *tut-tut*You don't have to read the previous iHeart books to read this one but I think it would help greatly if you did. It will help you understand Angela more and to know her back story of how she ended up in New York in the first place. These books are definitely one to read. Come on, 'tis the season to be jolly, gift them to a loved one OR even better - yourself. I so would if I didn't already have them!!

A nice installment to a fantastic series
Oh wow, we've hit book 6 in the I Heart series and I love the series as much as I did when I first read I Heart New York many moons ago...However, while I love the series I didn't love this book. I just liked it. Which for an I Heart books makes me kinda sad. It's hard to say why I liked it instead of love it and the only reason I can give is that Angela really started to annoy me in this one. She just doesn't seem to be growing as a character and as usual everything was all about Angela and it really annoyed me how selfish she is being in regards to Alex. She just refuses to grow up! I'm not going to go into details - I don't want to give too many spoilers - but I really hope there will be another book coming sooner rather than later that sorts it all out.I'd die of happiness if it was titled I Heart Babies!Anyways. This book had all the key characteristics of an I Heart novel. Lots of laughs, witty banter, humiliating moments, random drama, wacky friends, crazy parents... And last but not least sweet and sexy Mr. Reid. *Swoons/drools*.If you've read and like/loved the previous books in this series then definitely read it. It's a nice addition, I just had some issues with Angela! If you haven't read Lindsey Kelk before but are a fan of Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series you'll probably enjoy the I Heart books... But I'd start at the beginning - I Heart New York. It's the only way to truly fall in love with the characters.
