Loader Bucket Hay Bale Spear Attachment 1x39 Prong - KHL

Just got the bucket hay spear attachment yesterday. Have not actually installed it as yet, but this thing is a beast. Very well built and simple to install. It has no instructions with it but the install is intuitive and simple.... once you realize that the short stabilizer spikes have to be reversed from their configuration - used to make it more compact for shipping.The chain and square base slip under the bucket and the chain wraps over the top to attach to the tensioner bar. Then you just tighten it down. This will allow me to unload heavy round bales to the barn without driving my truck down a nasty steep hill. When done it will detach easily for storage. I don't need to be carelessly stabbing any horses. LOL.The price was very reasonable and included free UPS shipping.

Easy to attach, works great and easy to store!

I had a need to only very occasionally move hay bales and didn't want to over-invest in a product that would dramatically modify my tractor. This item works as described and with great ease. It quickly slips over the lip of the bucket, rap the chain around the bucket and tighten it down, and your ready for business. The first install took me well less than 5 minutes even without any instructions. Not having any instructions, would be my one negative. But it was a quick install and works great.

Very heavy duty. This is not flimsy. Nicely made and easily installed and removed. Did the job well.

Easy install works

I absolutely hate the chain setup with the turnbuckle. It scratches the heck out of your bucket and the turn buckle didn’t fit my bucket anyways, which mine is fairly narrow, but they didn’t give me enough information before hand to make that determination. I modified this with my own ideas and now it’s much better.
