Ahmed food mixed pickle in oil, Brown

It's the real deal.

I haven't opened the container yet, because I'm still finishing up my previous supply. I no longer live where I can buy it in a store, and I was so happy to find it on Amazon that I didn't mind paying a higher price for it. In fact, I'm grateful to the seller for making it available. I add some on the side whenever I cook Indian food. In fact, if I cook something that didn't come out right, a few forkfuls of Ahmed pickle makes it taste delicious. It's addictive.I've used this pickle for many years and it's been very consistent. If there's any problem I'll come back here and report after I open this batch.

Taste is amazing. This is exactly like achar you would find in a dhaba in North India. The packaging is not great. The achar comes in a plastic bag inside the container. Make sure your plastic container does not leak before you pour it inside, or better yet...use a glass container instead.

Item came in unsealed jar. Had 2 different expiration date on the jar.

I am a regular buyer of this product. The only complaint is that it does not contain enough oil that it has to be.

This product is absolutely delicious. I had some reservation when giving to my parents for the first time. I thought the flavors might be a bit too "exotic" for them. Boy was I wrong, they can't get enough of it. Mix this with some dal, aloo, roti, whatever you want and you're sure to enjoy a tasty meal.
