The extremely absorbent nature of these bags means that once soap is inside them, they will stay wet for days at a time, shortening the lifespan of the soap and the bag. However, the exfoliation they offer is good, so if you are using it in a drier part of your bathroom, such as hanging by the sink/mirror, they would probably do well. If left in the shower, however, the combination of extreme absorbence, wet environment, and organic materials leads the bags to decay very quickly, and turns bars of soap inside them into mush full of decayed fibers as well.Suitable for a face soap to hang by the sink. But if you're putting it in the shower or on the counter, you'll regret it quickly.

These fall apart super quick! One bag didn't even last a month before getting a hole in the bottom that the soap kept falling through. The only reason for two stars instead of one, is because they are not super rough. You don't end up taking a layer of skin off every time you use it. Unfortunately, I'll be looking elsewhere for replacements.

These bags are just what I wanted. Perfect for holding full bars or smaller bits of soap. The bags have just the right amount of texture to lather up and exfoliate your skin without being overly rough.
