This is a beautiful knife. I gave it to my son for a Cub Scout "you're old enough to have your own knife" gift, but I'm tempted to keep it for myself and give him a substitute.The collector's tin is very nice as well.My only complaint and the reason I'm giving 4 rather than 5 stars is that the locking mechanism is a little too hard to push down for younger fingers.

I ordered four of these knives, one for me and three for kiddos later.I opened my knife and the blade is NOT engraved as pictured in the advertisement. The other three are as advertised.I'll be trying to exchange the non-engraved knife as it's clearly an error in production - lesson learned though... while you won't want to open your knife, do so to ensure it's 100%!

My son got this for Christmas. If you have a scout in your family it's a must have! Only once in a 100 years...
