My daughter buys organic pouches and her toddler likes them. They're quite convenient. However, two packets had dark brown puree in the stem, leading her to question whether air had gotten in during filling of the packet compromising the contents. One of the packs had cinnamon, which we considered was perhaps added at the end of the filling process & had not completely mixed in. The 2nd pack did not have cinnamon added, but had the same dark brown food in the stem. Read the reviews and saw nothing about this issue that would answer our concerns. We had planned to return the shipment. But after contacting Happy Tot customer service we got a good explanation for the brown "plug". There's also good info on the site about their products in general. Didn't see anything about the plug, but according to customer service it happens during the processing by heating the contents, the contents in the stem being thinner. The representative states some people mix it in, and others toss the "plug". We are being sent a coupon for the packet that we tossed.

Ordered by accident any not worth the price! Shop around.

2 of these came expired 😒. I couldn’t exchange just the two or else I’d have to send them all back so that’s money I lose out now. Not much. But still. Otherwise the rest are fine.
