These Work
These work on my windows, but won't for everyone. That's about it. Might have to intentionally NOT screw the slimmest piece completely tight for the lock to be able to slide itself into the slim notch piece (or whatever it's called), but that's just how it has to be for my windows. Either way, the 2 separate pieces are still secured into the window snugly.

Solid metal construction
One of the sash locks in my home office broke and unfortunately, I couldn't find a window manufacturer or model label anywhere on the frame of the window. This sash matched the required dimensions almost perfectly so I took a chance on it. The item arrived quickly (this hasn't been true lately - looking hard at you Amazon and two-day Prime) and I was pleased to see that it is all metal construction and despite the catch side being ever so slightly wider than needed, it worked. The latch is secure and has ears on the cam side that mesh with the catch side to prevent someone from easily slipping a wire or card in to unlock it. It comes with all needed mounting hardware and I would recommend this without hesitation.
