Got these for our basement family room. They were inexpensive, which is good because I'd be disappointed if I'd paid more. They are black plastic, yet the flat fronts where the LEDs are appear to be painted with acrylic paint. Up close, it is easy to see brushstrokes.Not a big deal, since they are a good 10 feet away from where anyone would normally look.The timer can run for either 10, 20, or 30 minutes, which I thought was nice (at least for my purposes). Each letter/symbol comes with a remote. So I pulled out the plastic for 1 remote and left the other intact. Each letter takes 2 AA batteries. I didn't pull off the remote cover (come to think of it, don't know if it is even possible), but if it does come off, I'd imagine a watch battery is needed.

Kind of too small for what I needed it for. It does well outside.

Worked out perfect for my mini bar! Lights up cute and the remote makes it extremely easy to turn off and on!! Highly recommended

I love the look and feel of the letter, but after several attempts, the remote control does not work even after I changed the battery. Very disappointing that I would have to take it on and off the wall to turn it on.

Very cute product, great for a gift, home bar, worked perfect no issues, bright. I did take off a star because the letters are plastic - nowhere in the description did it mention that. It looks okay, a little cheap, I was hoping the letters were tin or something else. Not terrible for the price - still 10/10 would recommend!

Cool letter set for my NYC themed living room (have a bar section). The letters are made of plastic, which is less ideal than wood, but they still look good and for the price you can’t beat it! Placing them higher or further away helps you notice the plastic material less. I recommend using BRAND NEW batteries on all of the letters. I put used batteries in 2 of the 3 letters which dimmed their lights a little more than the one that had brand new batteries. I almost thought the other 2 letters were defective and considered sending them back, until I changed out the batteries and now all 3 shine brightly and evenly. Mine came with 2 remotes, which controlled all of the letters at the same time, a nice bonus! Overall satisfied with the product and price!

This looks great at our outdoor bar. Love that there’s a timer function. Great to spruce up any party!
