These puzzles immediately caught the interest of two-year-old twins who are developing new number and letter identification skills. The puzzles are colorful and extremely sturdy. Add color and matching to learning tasks and these puzzles fill many bills. I was surprised at how eager the little kids were to try to master getting all the letters and numbers into the right spaces. It’s a “dump ‘em out and start all over again” toy—well worth the small price.

Someone mentioned this is suitable for 1 year old and let me tell you, some of the pieces are small! I bought these for my 3 year old which is great but I thought he was going to be able to share with my 1 year old and that is a big NO. She is teething and of course wants to put everything in her mouth so sadly, they are not safe for her. *** as for the item itself, the colors are great, the pieces seem durable, and the boards are nice and a good size. My son absolutely loves these!

The quality is clearly cheap but it’s one of my 1-year-olds favorite activities and he can already put several of the letters in the right place. It’s not going to be an heirloom but it’s good for the price and is helping my son learn.

Overall, this is a durable product. I took off a star bc it only goes to 9. If I were to buy this type of item again, I would also go with magnetic pieces.

What a fantastic alphabet for little ones!! It does have some very small letters so watch your little one closely. We color sort, name the letters, spell out words, great toy with a lot of uses

I purchased these because I had originally bought the Spark brand that Walmart carries. My son had lost some pieces to the original puzzle I purchased. I now have another baby and needed one with all the pieces. I love the fact this has the color coordinating background for each piece with a small picture. The other one from Walmart didn’t have that feature. I also love that the number puzzle goes to 20. They need to be able to count to 20 for kindergarten. I am very happy with my purchase.

The transportation and animal puzzles have images under the puzzle pieces which make matching for little ones easier, however was extremely disappointed to find the alphabet and number puzzles did not have matching images beneath the pieces. Also thinness of the puzzles was disappointing. Likelihood of potential splinters also troublesome.

Great tool for learning! The wooden toy letters are safe for my son. The paint is safe and doesn’t chip off. Plus the colors are very vibrant and we just love them.
