Or maybe just the fact that I had spend so much money on two pieces of foam ..twin problems.It does solve your problem of the car seat ramming into drivers/passengers seat. Now we can sit and drive like normal humans. Maybe it should come with the car seat!

I am so happy I got this! My wife's 2017 Forester is a tight fit with 3 across, and the Diono is great. Unfortunately the rear facing takes up a ton of space and really pushes the front seat up. Installing this foam booster really did the trick to lift the seat up a bit and give the front seat some desperately needed room. The install is a breeze. This is a must have for any rear facing Diono Radian car seat installed in a smaller SUV or a car.In my first pic you can see the before and after. Please note that in the before pic the headrest on the front seat had to be lifted up to accommodate. Now there is room to move the seat back a bit further and to not be in contact with the car seat. The after pic doesn't do justice to the amount of added space afforded us with the use of this booster.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The Diono Angle Adjuster is a lifesaver for creating more legroom in our car with a rear-facing Diono seat. We can finally have a passenger in the front seat comfortably! Installation is simple, and the wedge feels sturdy.However, it does keep the car seat more upright, which can be an issue for naps as my child's head flops forward a bit. Also, the price feels a bit high for a piece of foam.Overall, it's a great solution for more legroom, but consider your child's sleep habits and the cost before buying.

same exact seats. seat behind the drivers side bas the foam piece. seat in the middle does not. seat behind drivers seats doesn’t touch and still gives plenty of room for driver. also like how the boys won’t be able to see, or touch one another during car rides lol.

This is the best $20 I’ve ever spent. Our Diono Radian 3RXT used to sit extremely reclined in our Subaru Crosstrek. I joked that I had “negative foot room.” I didn’t think it would ever be possible to have a rear-facing car seat in any seat but the back middle, so I assumed I’d just have to get a new car when I had more kids. After installing the seat with the angle adjuster, I have as much foot room as I need! Even if the seat were installed directly behind the passenger seat and not in the middle, I’d still have more leg room than I had before. Because of this little $20 piece of foam, I feel confident that I can rear-face multiple children for several years to come in my beloved Subaru. See photos for before and after.

This was amazing for additional legroom in our car. Why it's not included with the seat, I'll never know. I highly highly highly recommend this angle adjuster.
