This rat food has excellent ingredients and is high quality. My rats love it, and the large bag lasts quite a while with my three rats. It’s a solid choice for feeding them. The pieces are larger and shaped differently compared to the younger rat version.

I'm not a huge fan of rat food that are mixes. My rats will always pick out what they like and leave the rest making it so they don't get the correct amount of nutrients. A lot of mixes also have dried corn (can be deadly) and a lot of seeds which is high is fat.Oxbow has been the best food so far and my rats love it. It's triangle shaped making it easy for them to hold and eat. Has the perfect amount of nutrients for them (ofc I still give fresh veggies, fruit, and protein).For three rats the bag typically lasts me 3-4 weeks. I've purchased the 50lb bag and it lasted me 7 months.

my rats seem to like this choice more than most , hard not to accidentally overfeed if you don’t weigh your rats food just bc it’s smaller than most pellets so definitely be careful or you’ll run out faster, as for amazon this package is late and there is a lack of update, i don’t want to refund the package bc it’s my rats source of food and this is the cheapest but quality rat food i’ve found so far
