Smooth yet snug
The corks fit well and I have not had problems with over gassing or leaking with my wines. Only reason that it's not 5 stars, they do have a few that will shave off or lose a small piece while corking. That little piece floating is never appealing.

Right Cork, Wrong Bottles.
These are larger corks than what I should have used for the wine bottles but if anything that just means my wine that I made will age slower. Perfect for things like Port and Mead. Easy to install provided you have a good corking machine like the one I bough there on Amazon.
