So good we had to have two. Yes, I know.
I have two houses. (not as impressive as it sounds) In house #1 was an iron. I was going to buy an iron for house #2. Wife says, "You know... I think you should buy a steamer."I've been married 40 years. I bought a steamer like I was told. I set it up. No problem. She takes wrinkled things from house #1 to house #2 to steam them instead of using the iron. She moves between houses for her work and brings things to the steamer and takes them back when she changes houses.So... for Christmas ...she thinks our daughters in house #1 need to have one "to share".Uh huh.I had to buy another one because she loves, and brags, and "irons," and steams and just almost giggles as she does it.The kicker is that the iron she does not use was more expensive than this steamer / board combination.I am happy she is happy.

Great steamer
I recently purchased this steamer and have been thoroughly impressed by its performance, especially when compared to a traditional iron. The steamer is highly effective on all types of fabrics, but it truly shines when used on linen shirts, where it outperforms conventional irons by a significant margin. There is a bit of a learning curve initially due to the powerful steam output. If the steam button is held down continuously, the force can be a bit overwhelming. However, I found a simple workaround by pulsing the button in 1 to 2-second intervals, which provides much better control and results. This technique allows for effective steaming without the risk of dampening the fabric too much.Overall, this product is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to make their garment care routine more efficient and effective. Whether you're dealing with delicate fabrics or everyday garments, this steamer handles them all with ease, making it a great addition to any home.

I’m very surprised this is a Rowenta product.
The media could not be loaded. First I thought this would be a cool 2 in1 alternative to having an iron and a steamer. But it’s not.First I didn’t think of this until I used it to iron a shirt, the iron board should have a more narrow end like normal boards do to fit smaller garments. The board is very flimsy. The whole structure is something you want to make sure you have a space where you don’t need to move it because it is BULKY, HEAVY and the wheels and bottom piece WILL scratch your floor. For $200 you would think they add at least rubber on the bottom or four wheels with breaks or idk just something less of a hassle.Second: The fact that the iron plug and water jug are all one piece make it very inconvenient to fill with water. You have to take all that to your sink for water.Third: Only one setting? Why?? It is not hot enough to make the crease on my pants, shirts anything. It is very weak, look at my video. That’s all you get! No other setting. My previous Rowenta irons were THE BEST, lasted years. My mom always had one growing up then I’m finally an adult on my own (barely servicing) purchase this “fancier one” my mom was against btw and here we are she was right.Lastly, all the plasticky just looks like “made in china” the plastic sides are sharp and look un-finished and the plastic iron holder should not be trusted. When you put it on the holder you have to make sure to put it exactly right if not IT WILL FALL! But even when it is on correctly any movement will drop the iron. I’m just so disappointed and I hope Rowenta sees this and removes this off their line. This is not the Rowenta I’ve experienced.Update: I now just read the reviews. Well I guess I’m the idiot that didn’t read the reviews and purchased a product that everyone literally had my same opinion. Lesson learned

A quick, mostly positive review
I've owned this for 9 months now. I live in a manhattan apartment and love how relatively space-saving this is.Overall, I'm very happy with this steam iron+board combo, with some minor caveats:- There's no way to clean the tank. As I understand, this product has undergone multiple design revisions, and the water tank in the latest version does not disassemble for cleaning, nor does it come with de-scaling instructions. Apparently, the original version of this iron has some sort of receptacle for a de-scaling cartridge, but they removed that feature.- There's no temperature control. The iron has 1 temperature, and it's low enough to iron synthetic fabrics without damaging them at all.At the end of the day, I'm glad I purchased this. And, I must say that assembly was fairly intuitive, despite the complaints from other reviewers. Who knows; maybe assembly got easier with the latest design revisions, but I was able to put it together in under 2 minutes without referring to the manual.

In a smaller room, this steamer saves a lot of space compared to ironing boards
The Rowenta IXEO Steamer for Clothes with Ironing Board does as much as a regular iron and Ironing board, but stores in a fraction of the space. Works as good as an iron.

Changed my life!
I now look forward to steaming my clothes. My last steamer took forever and never got wrinkles out. This is amazing. Quick job needed???? Just use the steamer. Some tougher creases needed??? Pull down the board and iron it up!! It’s all in one. I even use it to hem my pants with the iron on tape!! It’s great!!!

Suddenly stopped working!
Had this a little over two years and it suddenly stopped heating up right in the middle of using it! But I did really like it. I don’t know that I would ever buy it again because it had such a short lifespan! You pay that much for something you expect it to last you longer than just over two years. I’ve had cheaper irons last a lot longer than that. I only used distilled water in mine.

Amazing!
We use this every day. Had for over a year now and it still works great. Better than an iron and board.
