These weren’t the easiest to install but weren’t exceptionally hard either. The issue I had was that there was a thin rubber coating over the grip sections of my paddle and the foam did NOT want to slide over it, no matter how wet both were. I wasn’t sure I was going to like the foam grips so didn’t want to cut the pre-installed thin gripping.I did eventually wrestle them on and am SO glad I did. Dang. What a difference!1. It’s a nice change knowing exactly where to place your hands. No more rebalancing the paddle. Grab and go after the initial adjustment.2. After several hours out paddling, there is far less strain on the hand and palm. It creates a more comfortable grip that lessens pressure on the hands.I can’t say anything about the longevity of the product. I got them late in the season. We will see how they hold up through the winter and what happens with regular use in the spring.

I LIKE THESE GRIPS. I USED WINDOW CLEANER AS A LUBRICANT AND THEY SLIPPED ON EASILY AND THEY STAY IN PLACE, THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE. I DO RECOMMEND THESE.

These are quality silicone grips for my kayak paddle. Using the tips of the included card and the tips from other reviews I was able to easily install them.I went for a 2 hr paddle and didn’t like them as well as I’d hoped. My hands still rubbed. No blisters but still had sore areas. These are affordable so for most people they are going to be fine. I just didn’t care for them but I will use them until I find something else.

I'm very surprised to see so many reviews talking about difficult installation. I installed these on my Perception paddles quite easily. Place the grips onto the paddle and pat it with your palm from the top until it glides down, as the directions state, then finesse it into your desired position. I found that if you put slight pressure around one side of the grip and guide it down, it moves easily but it doesn't slide around if you don't want it to. Just gotta find the sweet spot and it installs easily. I was able to do both paddles in under 10 minutes total. They feel solid and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

These install just fine and are comfortable. They see slightly too large in diameter which makes them a challenge to keep in place.

Bought two pairs. Perfect fit. Went on easily with a little water as instructions indicate. I did not purposely get them wet in the water to see if they also stay on well enough but seems like they will (my paddle came from manufacturer with flat grips that would slide around if wet). Wife agrees they are fantastic; so much comfier of a grip.

Installation is a pain first off. The directions are garbage. Learned my lesson since I have bought a new Werner CF paddle and have to buy another set of these. The pair shown is on an Aquabound 2 piece CF paddle. Quality and comfort fantastic. No slippage when wet, also helps as second block from water sliding down paddle after each stroke and no issue with blisters or hands hurting after hours of use.Per installation, use either a light amount of olive oil or petroleum jelly or some other light lubricant that can be wiped with water after to put these on. DO NOT follow their directions for using water to wet inside cause and I’ll tell you first hand it is a painfully arduous task especially getting the grips over the center locks on two piece paddles. Beyond that no one should paddle without these, it’s a game changer.
