Klockit's Quartex brand of high torque quartz clock movements is the USA standard for high-quality clocks movements. This movement is capable of is capable of running the longest hands on the market today (8" to 17-1/2"). Accurate to within =/- 0.8 second per day. The built-in molded hanger is strong enough to hold up to 4 lbs. One 'AA' battery is required, not included. Hour, minute, and sweep hands not included.

Mostly alright
The product works fine. After a week of running, the time is still spot-on, so accuracy seems to be great.One issue is that the radius of curvature of the corners is too small, so this mechanism could not fit into several clock fit-ups I tried. The solution was to carefully shave off the corners of the movement housing.Another issue is that the adjustment knob is not very ergonomic, so it is hard to turn.

Beware not 12/24 hour as stated in description
Yes I know it says 24 hour in the title, but it also says 12/24 hour in the description. I thought there would be a switch or something to choose, its strictly a 24 hour movement. I needed the high torque for a large clock. It did work. They offered to RMA when I asked, but its not worth it at this price. Just be aware that its 24 hour only,

this is a LOUD mechanism!
If you plan on putting this in a noisy place, it's probably OK. Also, it does not have continuous movement for the second hand, so if you are looking for that smooth 2nd hand, this isn't going to offer that feature.

24 Hour High Torque Quartz Movement - Short Shaft: Does what it's supposed to
Not much fan-fare... the movement works as advertised. The free hands made the job of repairing my old clock possible since getting the old hands to fit the movement was almost impossible.

Right on Time
This was a replacement clock works for a handmade clock for a church activities building. It works great and not a bad price.

Did Not Work
Mechanism did not work when received. Would not order another and did not request replacement of the one delivered. Postage more than mechanism.

24Hr Clock
If you need a 24 hr clock I believe you be happy with these. The clock will meet my purpose just fine.

Great Service from Klockit
I realized I ordered the wrong one, so I called Klockit and they immediately replaced with the correct one. They sent it next-day Fedex----great service!!! The replacement is working just fine.
