Small but very readable face. Gives out very little light so you do have to lightly press it to see the time. I love it. Like all the best Braun stuff it’s simple and well designed. Perfect for travel and bedside.

This is a design dream. It is sleek and beautiful. Very clever minimal actions, functions and lines. HOWEVER - as a clock it is lacking a basic function. You can't see the time in daylight! It is great in the night as you only need to brush the top for it to light up. But the lighting up is hardly visible in daylight and only lasts seconds, and the screen is mostly dark. I would expect any clock to be visible in the daytime also. So a nighttime dream, but a daytime nightmare. I still love it because it is a tiny beautiful thing.

Brain make the best bedroom and travel clock, period!Growing up I had an old Braun analogue bedside alarm clock, which is a model they still make today, mine was back in the 80’s!I’ve had two similar modes to these for years in the bedroom for my wife and I. They never miss a beat and are super simple to use, to set and to take on holiday also!This one is for my son as he has now grown out of his Lego Emit one!Super clean, simple and timeless design, as with nearly all Braun clocks.This will last for years, of that I know!Great compact size for a small shelf (my son has a cabin bed so there’s no bedside table) and this will also be great for our annual trip to Ireland to see grandad! My son needs a more reliable alarm clock now that he’s getting older and is up earlier a few days a week, this will be perfect!Easy to set, and clear and simple readout and design.Highly recommend.

Brilliant little clock. Super easy to set the time and alarm. Easy to fine light on top if need to see time in the dark. Large display for such a small clock. Perfect size for travel. Does everything it needs to do and does it simply and well. Very pleased.

All I want is a clock with a display big enough for me to see in the dead of night. This fits the bill exactly as the display is completely off until you gently touch the top. It then stays illuminated for about ten seconds before the display dims. It is tiny but because it is metal cased, it is quite heavy for its size hence very stable.The only downside was setting up the clock time at the start. Wasn’t getting anywhere following the instructions so I just used the +/- buttons on the back and that was all that seemed necessary.Overall, very pleased.

I know the dimensions are on the listing so it's my fault but be aware - this clock is very small indeed! Seen here next to the BC10 model (which is my old clock that stopped working properly). It has an alarm which works fine, lights up when you touch the snooze button on top. It doesn't have the constant backlight option that the larger one has and it took me some googling to find out how to switch to 24 hour clock (hold down the + button to switch between 12/24 hour). No date or temperature as on the larger model but who needs those when you are asleep? And it only needs one AAA battery (rather than 2xAA on the larger model).I've dropped one star because the digits are less bright presumably because they are smaller.

A really compact , lightweight clock/alarm-keeps time really well, however even with your ear next to it when the alarm goes off it is just about audible-a few feet away & its very hard to hear it-can’t use it as an alarm so disappointed

I love the small, simple, minimalist design that is not intrusive and doesn't have any random unnecessary features. The time and alarm is easy to set (one button is a bit fiddly but I think you get used to it and I think it also becomes a bit less fiddly with use). The time is visible in the daylight but not in a dark room. The screen lights up when you touch the top, but it's quite a low light that is not like headlights in your face in the middle of the night. I wouldn't want anything brighter. The alarm starts with a quiet beep that becomes louder and more rapid. It means I wake up less startled and I think I am also more awake (woken up more naturally) so I don't feel as much need to snooze and go right back to sleep. Highly recommend. It's the best alarm clock I could find on Amazon.
