Great sound.
Great sound, two alarms one you can set for week day and the other for weekend if ya fancy. You can reduce the brightness as well, so perfect for night time.

Looks good but not as good
Given my basic old cabled digital alarm clock this looks great and has many useful functions. However the cable is quite short which means it can only sit in one place and of course, that is where I have no DAB signal which means I can only use the analogue radio. I also found the instructions tricky: all pictures, no words, which is fine to a point; e.g. the instructions seem to imply you can set-up 2 alarms, however I always get "set alarm 1" not 2 and I'm not sure how to/ if I can have 2 alarms; so I have to use 1!

Great value radio
The buttons are quite small. Set up is easy and the sound is crystal clear. Perfect size for bedside table. The light is a bit bright even when dimmed but we just turn it towards the wall!

Not a suitable choice for a bedside radio or for a technophobe
I found this very difficult go set up. This was purchased to replace my BEDROOM radio but found that in the early days when I wanted to change the station in the dark, I had to put on a bedside light, find my reading glasses, find the correct station (preset), set the timer to switch off, remove reading glasses and switch off the bedside light. Still don't 't know how to dim the very dazzling time display.

Impressive little radio.
Bought Feb '24 for £40.63 (Amazon warehouse deal, RRP at the time was over £60). A great little DAB plus radio, great sound and very good reception on all bands (London). Chose this model because of the brand, reviews and because the buttons are on the top, these small radios are light weight and to stop them moving sometimes requires two hands to be used, if the buttons are at the front. The display is a good size another plus is the radio remembers your choices even after being switched off at the mains. Only negative is the quick start guide which I found confusing. Best advice I can offer is to press the select button after making a choice and if possible go to the philips web site for better use instructions.

Tiny buttons
Sadly I sent this back, the buttons on the top are really small when you’re trying to turn it off in the dark. It’s fairly difficult to program and the instructions are absolutely useless. I missed the snooze button, and I appreciate it has a second alarm, which is effectively the snooze but I just missed the ease of a big button.

Impressed
Ideal. This was just what I was looking for as it has 4 pre-sets that I was looking for. It has a easy to use design with a window, given it's size, to see the time.

Nice looking but faulty.
Sadly a 1 star review as had to return this clock radio because it was faulty. The clock would automatically and sporadically loose time. Meaning it could not be relied upon as a radio alarm. Which kind of defeats its design. Granted this might be an isolated case, given the numbers Philips produce, so just bad luck we got a defective unit. Otherwise, the radio side of things seemed to work ok. The backlight was too bright if being critical and a lack of clear instructions and setup were other issues. It’s not easy to set up, the instructions are useless. Otherwise, the unit was nice looking, the sound that it produced was really pleasant and of decent quality. Had the clock worked without issue, we’d have kept it and given the radio alarm a 4 star review.
