Why did you pick this product vs others?:After using this one time, I was able to watch an old tape with precious family memories (which I was unable to play prior to the cleaning). I would recommend this item.

Worked pretty good. Took a few cleanings, but my old version us working again.

Did i get taken?
I previously had a VCR cleaner tape from Scotch brand that worked beautifully. This one didn’t do a thing. In three different VCR’s, you would put it in, hit play, and the VCR would eject it immediately. Could not tell it did any difference at all. Would not rewind - not even a second - nor would it play. I don’t even know how this thing is supposed to work. Let me just say that mine didn’t. Total waste of money. Would’ve sent back as defective but had to tear the box open just to get it out. Total waste of money. Let me know if I can return it with a (slightly) torn box and I will.
