I like the the point on these pens. They give a dark line, and the round smooth barrel is comfortable to grip for long periods of time. I have developed a large dislike for gel pens. All the gel pens I have tried show though paper, and the ink takes much longer to dry, and for me at least, the ink has a tendency to smear.The ink in these pens flow nicely, the writing is smooth without catching on different types of paper, and I haven't had any trouble with skipping. But I keep my pens tip down in a jelly jar, LOL. Mason jars are too tall and wide for my desk. I have a small jelly jar that I washed out and it holds just the right number of pens and pencils. That way I don't have to worry about any type of ink skipping, and have to shake the ink down to get it to write reliably.These are long lasting pens. These pens last me three or four times longer than the gel pens. They don't leak, and the writing is dependable. The price is reasonable, and they come in several colors.So I'm giving 5 stars for; Function, value for money, nice width on the lines, black black ink, the comfort of the barrel when gripping, the length of time it can be used before it runs out of ink.

Great pens for a great price! They are easy to write with. The black is a normal black ink color and works great for signing legal documents.

I am author and I not only love the price for the quantity but I love the quality. Yes, they are an old school pen but they are durable and smooth to use. Their sharpness is like writing with a fine point without the ink skipping, even though they are a medium point. I can write for hours with these as the don't cause any discomfort. The black ink is functional without smears or leaks.

These pens are great. The write smoothly with no blobs and they last a long time and they are economical.

These BIC pens are the workhorses of the writing world—super affordable and usually ready to go right out of the box. Perfect for jotting down notes, scribbling shopping lists, or pretending to be productive. Most of them write smooth and steady, but a couple were dry duds right from the start (they’re just shy, I guess). Still, for the price, you really can’t beat the value. Keep a bunch handy and toss the quiet ones!
