Hello, World! Solar System Board book – March 8, 2016

My son loves to read this book with me. It has bright colorful pictures and engages the reader to participate. According to him, some of the planetary info is inaccurate, but I cannot be sure to the accuracy of his claims.

Love these little books, they are made well and have bright colors. Great for gifts!

The media could not be loaded. This board book gives just enough information without being too wordy for the intended age group. The board pages are thinner vs thick board books but feels durable. The colors are bright. There is no 'storyline' but each page shares information about our solar system and the planets.

Excellent simple and accurate! I started noticing my 2 year old granddaughter's curiosity about the moon, probably spawned by the classic book "Good Night Moon" when she was one. Then she wanted to know more about the sun. This evolved into trying to find the right book that was simple enough but also offered an accurate representation of the sun and solar system. This book fit the bill. It lists all the planets, shows their relative sizes and order in distance from the sun. She now knows the planets and I found a great song to reinforce what she learned in the book on the Hopscotch kids' YouTube channel. She likes to look at the book and listen to the song together. Next, will be finding a tactile version of the solar system to broaden her experience even further. Amazon has a puzzle solar system globe I'm thinking about trying. I'll let you know....

My child and I love reading this book! Highly recommended!

The book is nice and informative but along with all the planets it mentions pluto too which is no longer a planet. Though it is written in the book that pluto is a dwarf planet but a kid is not going to read that. Now, my 3.5 year old boy is chanting all the planets ending with Uranus, neptune and pluto. So, returning it.

There was a lot of good information for toddlers in this book. Our son loves it!
