Q: Is this a 100% stainless "stone"?

I've had mine for a while now and can say I've never seen any rust or other material come out of it so I assume it is 100% stainless.The barb and stone exterior are 100% stainless for sure - but unless somebody cuts one open... :) Anyhow, I've boiled this thing etc - it is really great. Asside from dropping it or clogging it up with crud somehow, It should last a lifetime.

Q: Is this stone chemically resistant to strong sulfuric or hydrochloric acid?

Stainless steel is very susceptible to being reduced by strong acids. So I would say using strong acids would not be good for the longevity of the carbonating stone.

Q: How much air pressure does it take to make bubbles? Can you make bubbles just blowing with your breath?

About 2PSI, no you cannot blow bubbles with your mouth.

Q: Will a cheap aquarium pump work with this stone?

Yes, but use an additional filter between the airpump and the stone. One of the cheap homebrew air filters are just fine.
