I searched a for a rose hip product for both tea and additive to foods. I product is in a sealed bag as pictured and have a light citrus aroma. The rose hips are dried and shredded with occasional seeds, just be mindful of this in case you use as a food additive or wish to further process beyond simply using for tea. As a tea, I found the right balance, nice light, tangy flavor like many of the good herbal teas. The price is reasonable.I had purchased prior to this loose, whole dried rose hips locally which I had to mill to use for tea. I found that I had to throw out quite a few due to being bad. The local purchased were expensive, took more work to prepare for use and poor quality.Like any other harvested plant product, each batch may vary. So far very please with quality of product.

I use rose hips in my teas regularly, and these seem to be organic, highest quality without seeds. One note, packaging states they are sourced from Chile (not shown on web site description)

This is my second time buying this product, and I absolutely love it. I brew a couple of large mason jars of it overnight. Then, I heat it up with some honey and enjoy it weekly. I think it tastes really good! The bag is huge and lasts me for months.

I ordered these to make hydrosol, but also had to try them as a tea. The quality is absolutely top notch. Somehow I missed the part about them being cut, but, they are seedless, so I'm good with that.Rosehips contain more vitamin c than oranges. Their antioxidants are beneficial to your body inside and out. As a tea, they have a delicate floral/fruity flavor that is just lovely.Star west botanicals is awesome!!

I just put a couple tablespoons of the rose hips in a mug and add boiling water. I cover it and let it steep for at least 5 minutes and add a little stevia. Soooo good and soooo good for me. Sometimes I eat the rose hips in the bottom of the mug after drinking the tea. This is better than any leaf "tea" I've ever tasted!

It is an excellent addition to make my Elderberry syrup.

I really don’t mind picking out one or two twigs when the product is organic and amazing put them in my tea they taste wonderful exactly how rosehips taste and my squirrel absolutely loves them as well so we share in this I put them in my tea and I hand her a couple, Great nutrients for both of usmy squirrel and I thank you for a good quality organic rose hips ❤️

I opted to try this brand of rosehips because, unlike the Frontier brand I previously bought (my review is on their page), this company (Starwest) at least lists the country of origin on the package, as seen in the picture. I even mentioned in my Frontier review that I was switching to Starwest specifically because they list the country of origin, which is Chile. The Starwest product arrived a few days ago and, lo and behold, the package lists "South Africa" as the country of origin. Not that either country's growing practices and oversight is better or worse (and frankly, how am I supposed to really know anything about either? I'm sitting here unawares in the United States) but it irked me a tad that despite the picture they show on this product page, and the answer "Chile" when customers ask the country of origin in the Q & A section, this stuff was from another country entirely. Can these companies please get their advertising straight? With all the reasons we buy or don't buy products, many consumers consider "country of origin" as a stipulation of whether to buy or not. Seems like a lazy business practice, which doesn't instill faith in the consumer. (PS yeah, the rosehips are fine.)
