Airtight Cold Brew Iced Coffee Maker and Tea Infuser with Spout - 1.0L / 1010ml RJ3 Brewing Glass Carafe with Removable Stainless Steel Filter

First off, I LOVE this coffee maker. Makes great cold brew and very easy to clean. The SS filter and cap are great quality. Unfortunately, the carafe is EXTREMELY FRAGILE. I have now now broken two of them and won't be buying a third. Both broke in the same spot at the base. The first time, I had just made a full pot and barely (and I really mean barely) tapped it against the shelf in the cupboard as I was putting it away (I brew at room temp). Coffee went everywhere and I had to clean every dish in there. The second time it was empty and broke by just setting it next to the sink. I was so shocked because I have been even more gentle with the second one. For $40 I expect this to be A LOT more durable. Several other reviewers have had the exact same issue...so buyer beware. Honestly, this carafe should be made out of Pyrex. You can buy a 1L Erlenmeyer flask on Amazon for less than $13 which is almost the same size and shape as this carafe. I have one for brewing beer and that thing is indestructible. The point is...for $40 I think Ovalware could provide a Pyrex version and still make good margins on their product. That would make this the ultimate cold brew maker and I would immediately buy another one!

Nice quality feel to it. Takes up a lot of room in the fridge, 1.5L is maybe a bit too large unless you have a double fridge as the base and height take up the equivalent or say 2 4pint milk cartons.Nice cold brewed coffee for the summer, cold brew is less acidic so a bit less bitter and "coffee" like making it good for iced latte and drinking cold etc. or meaning you do not need so much sugar to sweeten the taste compared to say a Costa and Starbucks that have lots of sugar in their cold selection

The product arrived on time (using Amazon Prime) but is not as described. There is no rubber base included in the package. The glass is quite fragile/thin, so I am wary of this ending up like many of the reviews on here - broken. I would appreciate the base that it is advertised with, this would hopefully give it a bit more resilience.

This item honestly looks twice as expensive as it is and works perfectly! It’s the perfect size for it too fit in the fridge and large enough that you can get a few glasses of coffee before having too spend time brewing again. My only problem with the design is it can be a little difficult to get in and clean the inside.Would definitely recommend getting one if you’re thinking about it!

We brew our cold brew in this and it's amazing. Gets us through the week. I love the design too, it might feel a little fragile on the handle but we've been dealing it with care and had no problems. Worth it.
