Just built a tiny mini-ITX fanless PC for home entertainment use, just to watching Amazon video, YouTube, etc. This case has low profile mini-ITX case without any open PCI slots. This M.2 to PCI-e x1 adapter fits the bill perfectly. Installs in seconds. No cables needed, as the adapter plugs in to the PCI-e slot directly.Once installed, the NVME SSD is recognized in the Windows 10 setup, the OS install went smoothly without any glitches. No drivers needed either. And the NVME SSD is lot faster than the traditional SATA SSD and without any SATA power cable and data cable needed. The built is super clean and easy, no messy cable management needed. Highly recommended.

I bought this to clone a new ssd with an older one on a computer with only one on board ssd slot. The board was recognized in win 10, as was the new ssd I used with it. Transfer was fast and a breeze.

I bought this product to adapt an NVME SSD to Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. It fits in the slot and works fine.

The product is quite good. It allows to add an NVMe SSD using PCIe x1 slots. Transfer rate is ~900MB/s for PCIe v3 and 1.8GB/s for PCIe v4. Please note that both, SSD and motherboard needs to support v4 for the higher speed. I got two of these boards, and both did not come with the mounting screws. Thankfully I had spares at hand, otherwise I would have to return the product. This version does not come with a bracket and the narrow x1 slots don't offer a lot of support. Relocating or moving PC could require rechecking on those boards to make sure they are still in place. If not for the missing screws and lack of brackets it would be a 5-star review.

Pretty good and impressed with speeds even tho its x1 pcie. Red light blinks when moving data i suppose.I have it installed on a b560-a ac motherboard.

It’s not for performance, but since the motherboard didn’t have any more slots, this was an easy way to add additional data disk. It still was faster than the Intel Optane drive that was occupying one available slot on the mobo.

Was looking for something to be be able use my M key 1TB NVMe SSD stick as a boot drive in my desktopso thought I would try this one not being able to find anything else that looked like it would work and this worked perfect just wish it had included a pci slot bracket to secure it to the back of the case I guess I can put on my thinking cap and figure something out. Otherwise would recommend this.

Works great but the red light is distracting when in a build that doesn't really use red.
