NOCONOCO Boost X GBX155: 4250A UltraSafe Jump Starter – 12V Lithium Battery Booster Pack, Portable Jump Box, Power Bank & Jumper Cables - for 10.0L Gas and 8.0L Diesel Engines

I’ve used the NOCO Boost X GBX155 a few times now, and it works exactly as advertised. It started my diesel truck with no problem. Super easy to use, charges fast, and I love that it also works as a power bank. The build quality feels solid, and it's small enough to keep in the truck without taking up space. If you need serious jump-start power, this one is worth it.

Ram 2500 6.7 L Cummins diesel (two batteries). GBX155 works great to start. Got back from vacation and truck wouldn’t start. Started right up with the NOCO but then truck wouldn't hold a charge. AAA guy shows up to house to replace batteries, can’t get truck to start. Has his charger AND his jumper cables hooked up to the Ram and could not get it to turn over. I got out the NOCO and it started right up. It started my truck at least 5 times. Didn’t want to test the limit and end up stranded in some parking lot. So not sure what the max number of charges.

What's needed to jump start all these new cars. If you have a newer car that 5 years are newer with the battery under the seat are in the trunk area. You need this one to jump start your car. I work as a tech and work for a luxury brand that's a pain in the ass to jump start do to battery location. Also these newer EV cars that have the 12v battery go dead. You really need a lot of power to get them enough 12v power to place them on the charger to charge the HV battery. Without a good 12v battery the HV battery can not be charged. So you get a car with a dead 12v battery and need to change the HV battery because it's low, you're in trouble. On other cars with the jump points so far from the battery and the battery buried, you need this much power. Love the size and weight compared to older jumpers I've had. So easy to carry to the car. Has held up fantastic with its constant use. Charges up quickly with the higher rate charging plug. You do need to get this unless you want very slow charging with your normal phone charger.

Update November 2, 2024I purchased a second GBX155, thinking the first time was a fluke… It also failed in less than 13 months, just simply stops turning on… their warranty and repair is totally worthless…I copied it below in the review, costs more than buying a new unit in most cases. Save yourself some hassle and purchase another brand.I have the GBX 155 and it’s smaller brother, I bought them both at the same time in November 2021. They worked great for jumping, but they both died within a few weeks of each-other in September 2023.My old lead acid jumper is has been in service for around 5 years, and still works great.They should last longer than 22 months. Especially with light, occasional uses! Other than dying prematurely, they are nice jump packs.Here’s their awful warranty policies from their website as of 11/2/24. The cost to repair is more than the cost to purchase.In-Warranty: Months 0-12Within the warranty period, any defective item will be replaced free of charge.Advanced replacement for In-Warranty claims is available with a credit card payment for the full retail amount. This is a nicely made unit. It came recommended by my son who has the smaller unit. The USB ports are handy when the power is out to charge phones etc. well made. Get the case recommended- it fits perfectly and is very good quality. I put this in my rv van in case of a dead battery or if I need to charge phones, fans, laptops. Worth the money.

This is the one! If you are thinking about getting one or thinking about the TikTok shop one, think again. This is it. It'll start whatever you've got. Again and again. I've pulled up on people charging with cables, boxes, what have you and every one has been left in the dust. They'll say "i already tried with mine and it's dead dead." It'll start. Within 15-30 seconds. Most often times , instantly. I've started big diesel boats, trucks, cars. I even ran my mini excavator on it for a half hour in the pass through mode with it. During hurricanes it charges all my devices.I'd buy one for each of my family members if I had the money. You will not be disappointed!If you can, get the lil case too.
