Glorious By Vanderbilt For Women. Eau De Toilette Pour 1.7 Oz

My husband first bought me this perfume in 1988 when it first came out. I loved it so much. Of course, it is very hard to find now, so I was very happy when I saw it on Amazon. My husband got this for me for a Valentine’s day gift. The perfume has a musky scent that I love, but it is very feminine smelling at the same time. It does not have a floral scent. That’s the best thing I love about it. It last forever on my skin.

This did not smell anything like the scent I used back in the '80's. Didn't even really smell like perfume to me. Maybe it was old? Just smelled like alcohol mixed with some type of scent, but not good. Disappointed because I used to LOVE this stuff!

Purchased this for my mother as it is her favorite. Unfortunately, I had to give a phone number when I ordered it and have been receiving NUMEROUS phone calls from numbers I don't know. When I reverse search the numbers, they are scammers using MagicJack from other countries and there are several reports of the harassment people are receiving from these people telling them they owe them money for pay day loans that they never had.I rarely give anyone my telephone number because I don't want it sold to the next vendor for that exact reason. Think my days of ordering on-line are done.

I finally found this perfume! I was given a sample of this in the late 80's by a friend and I really liked it. Recently,I was trying to remember what it was called and I finally stumbled on this while looking at another Gloria Vanderbilt fragrance my grandmother used to wear. The bottle is larger than I expected which is nice. I put it on and immediately was taken back to the 80's! It smells exactly as I remember. I would describe it as a soft, somewhat powdery, musky floral. After wearing for a few hours, it softens to a very gentle floral with some almost citrus notes. So glad I found it.

I bought this scent way back in 1987. Turns out, I loved it so much, I chose to wear it on my wedding day in November of the same year. Once I finished my bottle, I wasn't able to find it anywhere. So needless to say, I went without having 'Glorious' in my life for the past 25 years. So when I found it on Amazon, I was shocked and thrilled all at once! I ordered it ASAP. Call it sentimentality, but I love this fragrance. Thanks, Amazon for taking me back to my wedding day!

THe scent of this bottle is not what it use to be and the inexpensive lid cap broke when trying to remove it for the first time

This is not the same fragrance from the eighties that I loved. The fragrance I received was a darker color and smelled spoiled. Seller does not allow returns.

I started wearing Glorious cologne in the 90's and it quickly became a favorite. For a long time it was the only cologne I wore. It was reasonably priced and I always received comments when wearing it. It's a bit floral with a slight musk scent. It stays, when a lot of colognes don't on me. Unfortunately, I no longer can purchase it in any store, however, as usual, I depend on Amazon.com to find it for me.
