We're very good. I've had a lot of stones in my life and they seem to cut very well. The only thing I wish they would do is be able to be kept in water all the time, so they're ready to go other than that. They're a great setup. The the stoneholder works good, just very nice thing when it comes with a leveler and the cleanup Stone, it's a good deal. I mean, I feel impressed with the strop but i have one already anymore

Bought for my husband for a early Father's Day gift.He hasn't used it yet but he was very impressed with it when he opened the box.It has everything & more to do professionally sharpening of his blades.

These stones appear to be of good quality and have held together well for about 6 sharpening sessions. The leveling stone is great and works really well to maintain the sharpening stones. The leather strop is probably the least useful item in this purchase, along with the angling piece which is meant to keep your blade at the correct degree. Cheap plastic and unhelpful in my experience. Overall, a good product you can learn to sharpen blades on.

I tried the cheapo stones, I tried a belt sander, I tried one of those sharpening tools you pull the blade through. I could never get a sharp edge with any of those. I was able to get very sharp edges with these stones and the leather strop. The instructions say to soak the stones for about ten minutes and you don't need any lubricant. I don't think I trust that so I use dish detergent as a lubricant and it gets great results.

I really needed something to revive my very mistreated (and old) chisels. I did take the time to clean up my newer set and these kit is great with perfect outcome. The stones with the silicone frame sitting inside the wood base holds extra water and helped me perfect my sharpening ability. I also used the Saker blade holder due to my hands and RA. This kit is perfect for many blade sizes and provides added stability and flatness for a perfect finish. Please make sure to soak your stones in water prior for best results. Take your time for an excellent edge.I am totally happy and impressed with my purchase.

Very nice set with very clear instructions. And the rubber sleeve fits well over the stone and into the wooden block really nice.

Works well. It is a nice stone and set up. It brought back a 25 year old dull knife.

This is a NICE kit. One fatal flaw get rid of the wooden base I don’t care what kind of wood it is it will MOLD Replace it with a plastic water tray with nonslip bottom trust me customers will appreciate the water tray.
