Bling
Very heavy and robust. Quite operation. Bright and glittery.I have the red version which does look like an old book. Timer works well running from the mains transformer supplied. Not a cheap item but worth the extra over cheap plastic globes ect.

Choice of effect.
Very nice item, however it would be really good, if there was a choice between glitter or snow effect. It comes with glitter, which is quite striking, but snow would be more atmospheric.

A "glitter globe" that isn't a globe. It is novel, both figuratively and in appearance literally.
Bought this as a present so I cannot comment on battery life. However, it was well received and there was lots of ooo's and aahhh's when it was switched on. The water pump is not to loud and it circulates the water, and subsequently the glitter, well. It was slightly heavier than expected, but not overly so. I am very glad with this purchase, and so was the recipient. It is very sturdy and I consider it to be very good value for money.

Love it
Absolutely love this item. Great price and delivery. Well packaged. Everyone had something nice to say when they saw this show globe. Would recommend this company and product. Really bright and ran by battery.

Beautiful
This is very lovely - a nice alternative to the usual globes, and well made (I should note that it's not actually made of metal as another review suggested, but they can be forgiven, as it does look the part). The pages glow as the light inside shines through the lighter parts, and the sparkles from the moving glitter shine out onto the surface in front of it. Overall a lovely piece...being honest, I actually returned this as I realised I wanted something that glittered all around, rather than just in front, but it was a close run thing as this was impressive.
