Q: Where is the off button?

there isnt an off switch as such. it works on the red button stop/wstart. if you want it 'dead' then remove the battery

Q: Does it notify you when the battery is low and needs replacing?

We have not discovered a function to show low battery - but then we bought ours 9 months ago and are still using the original batteries!! So [even if there is no low-battery warning] replacement is clearly very infrequent. We have used the timer a lot, almost every day, and are therefore more than satisfied with the economy and efficiency of the timer.

Q: Does the alarm auto cancel after a set time (e.g. 1 minute) , or must the alarm be manually silenced by pressing a button ?

The alarm sound stops after one minute but the timer continues- displaying the elapsed time since the alarm started. Or you can stop the timer and alarm by pressing a button.

Q: What is the maximum count up or count down time for each channel?

The maximum countdown timer for each channel is 99hours 59min 59seconds, and the max count up time is also 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
