What does the R stand for at the end of 14-50R
Can these be used in japan tokyo 50hz 200v 50a?
I'd planned to run 6-gauge wire to this (for 50 amps), but the receptacle has stamped on it "wire size awg #8". is it still ok to run #6 to it?
Looks like people use this for electric range (240 volts) too. Is this receptacle safe for electric ranges? or this is for electric cars and RVs?
