The product should show and the mean description that it is actually aluminum wire with copper coating. Project would probably work for low-voltage responsibilities however I needed true eight gauge wire.

Used for solar voltaic system wire appears to be copper coated instead of being solid copper as such I'd recommend a solid copper product for solar installation.
