Brilliant stuff
Used this to do an emergency exhaust fix until I can get the car into a garage. Managed to hold up for a 4 hour motorway journey home and still going strong.Really easy to use and tear, just don’t take all the backing off at once as it tends to stick together - a non issue if applied properly.Stuck really well, even over all the carbon dirt on the exhaust, however is not very thick so you will need a few layers. Can’t comment on how well it would stand up in the rain, but very good for the price.

Ideal for little gap closures
Brilliant, seals any gaps up and heat resistance.

Strong, Reliable Tape with a Few Minor Quirks
The Gladiator Aluminium Tape lives up to its name—tough, durable, and very sticky. I used it for sealing HVAC ducts and some general insulation work, and it stuck extremely well, even in warmer conditions. It’s definitely heat-resistant and holds up under pressure, making it a great option for both professional and DIY use.The tape is easy to apply and conforms well to uneven surfaces, which is a big plus. The adhesive is strong right out of the box, and once it’s in place, it’s not going anywhere. The only downside is that the backing can be a little tricky to peel off cleanly at times, especially if you’re in a rush or wearing gloves. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting.Overall, it’s a solid product that performs as advertised. If you need reliable aluminium tape for insulation or sealing jobs, this is a strong contender. Just be patient with the backing.

Does what it says on the tin!
Have been looking for tape to secure a cable to a piece of trim in our car and have tried all the usual suspects like Gaffa, Gorilla, Duct, etc but in all cases the temperature in the car (not even during a heatwave!) has been enough to cause the glue to loose its stickiness and the tape to peel off. This was a last effort and I’m pleased to say that one week later, even with outside temperatures of 32 degrees, the tape is still nicely in place. Hopefully it will also survive the winter months too!Fitting was super easy and the backing paper peeled off without any problems.

Very strong adhesive
Very strong adhesive, peel off back can be a little tricky to get off good tape for various applications .

It works good but doesn't!!! Lol
The aluminium tape worked good to conceal a whole on my exhaust box at the back it stayed on the for about three days four days till it blew off heated up and literally lost it the stickiness which is very sticky but after a certain amount of time under heat it does release itself so I would say 50 50 recommended

Highly Adhesive Aluminium Foil Tape, (50mm x 10m)
I bought this roll of tape because we have been fitting new engineered wood flooring and you need to tape together the sides of the rolls of underlay to maintain the vapour barrier. Once you remove the backing tape it is very sticky and goes on well but getting that backing tape off was the problem. It was not easy to get a finger nail into the join to lift enough to get a hold and rip it off. Occasionally I had to resort to using the blade of a Stanley knife for the first step. The answer would be to have a backing tape a fraction wider that the aluminium tape; you could then just flick it, get the initial separation and then rip it off.
