So far so good for this old timer.
I haven't finished installation -- literally just received it. If you accidentally press to reset to factory settings as I did, just put in 4 zeros as the Code it asks for or it stays in lock out and wont let you get to the scan channels step without filling in a code there. When connecting your booster antenna remember to plug the hdmi thing on the side and the circular antenna underneath. That was all easy peasy. I haven't put my amazon fire stick on it yet, but suspect I'll need an extender cord since it's underneath the tv and not on the side like my old tv.I have a question about changing channels without going back to channel 2 and also what specific soundbar people recommend. Wondering if I could plug in some old computer speakers into it. I feel so good about not having a smart tv in my bedroom. I did plug it into one of those on/off plugs because I don't like the red light that glows when it's turned off since it holds just a little power in the circuit. Here's the link (I use these for a lot of things I want off and I light the light on the outside reminds me) : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QKPBZX1/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1AMUYYA3CT6HJ&th=1So far all channels scanned and work fine but I haven't finished testing out the DVD player or the firestick and will update with any shortcuts I learn. I wrote this because I hate installing new things like this and manuals don't really help with some of the simpliest of things.

Great TV
I Love this TV. Says it's 32" but is only about 28" total edge to edge. Check measurement description. Don't expect true 32" viewing area. Some commented on low audio. This can be adjusted in Menu settings. Have to adjust for TV and DVD separately. Love the feature of Audio only. I'm bothered by the light flashes in some programs. Nice to have the option to turn off video. I've been using mine for nearly a month. So far so good. Not many options in the market these days for a DVD/TV combo. So glad to have this space saver. Being careful with the DVD part. That's what quit on my last one. So far, fully a 5+ for me.

Nothing but problems!
I purchased this TV because it is non-smart, and these are hard to find. (I have since learned that a Smart TV does not have to be connected to the Internet and can function as a non-smart TV.) The TV came missing the four screws needed to screw on the feet. I called the number for Westinghouse that was included in the box stating in large text not to return the TV if there is a problem but to call them. I talked to two agents, and both stated that that they could not supply the missing screws. The number they gave for the screws was unidentifable at Ace hardware. As it turned out the phone number was not a regular Tech Support number at Westinghouse but more like an answering service with minimal ability to offer support. I decided to try the TV without the feet attached, and the picture was poor; the volume was low. I was considering bying a sound bar. I called Amazon and arranged to have the TV returned and ordered a replacement TV. This time the screws were in the box but one of the screws just turned in the hole as if it were stripped. It was also very difficult to allign the screws with the holes due to the poor design. When I received the replacement TV I was hoping that the picture would have been better, that the volume would not be so low. I used glue and a toothpick to secure the screw to the TV. When I turned the TV on, there was a large area in the center of the screen that was black. It looked like the edges around it were cut glass. To add insult to injury I had to struggle quite a while to remove the screw I secured so well in order to get it back in the original box so that I could return it. I'm so glad I returned this and went with another brand (Vizio 32" Smart TV). Putting the feet on it took a couple of minutes and was a cinch. It has a better design as the feet are straight and not jutting out at an angle. The picture is excellent and the volume is as loud as I can anticipate using it at only about two-thirds its capacity. I am not writing this review as a rant but to warn and inform others of my experience before they decide on this set. I anticipate writing a great review for the Vizio set.

An Excellent Alternative to "Smart" TVs
When our old Sylvania TV broke down, I really did not want to replace it with a "smart" TV. I searched around and decided to purchase this Westinghouse TV. I am incredibly happy with this purchase. The TV is light and easy to setup. The picture and the sound are excellent - zero lag. Pairing it to the cable box was a breeze and the sound and picture can be customized to your liking with a very intuitive settings interface. It is a very high quality television and an excellent value for the money spent. I'm now quite happily a Westinghouse customer.

Great "Dumb" TV
If you don't want a Smart TV like us, this is a great one to buy. Easy to set up, connects to multiple DVD players, plus has a DVD player in the TV itself. We like the quality of the picture and feel it is priced fairly. So glad we found it.

DVDs don't play 50% of the time don't buy
50% of the time DVDs don't play or you need to mess around with it till it figures it out. Have had for awhile now and still a POS. to expensive to replace! Kids hate it when they want to watch a DVD and it wont work. Waste time trying to get it to work to just find a different DVD. It very random. Don't buy get something else.

Power reset
I use the TV for my computer monitor. The only problem with this tv is if it does not turn you need to pull the plug and press the on button, on the back, for 20 seconds to reset it. Plug it back in and it should go back on.
