Good cheap solution hidden in Garage and I used mains adapter so no worries with batteries. Probably not as loud as I expected but I can hear it in my conservatories about 20 metres away. Once indoors it not going to wake you but may be enough to put someone off. I contacted them about using a mains adapter, and to be very fair to them they answered my queries so that's a positive.

Loud, uses AA batteries. Sturdy unit. Works for us. The only issue is the remote it’s very small and easy to loose, so be careful with it.

The device itself is fantastic. Sturdy, very loud, sensitive - does everything I want it to.You can set it to either chime once when it detects movement, or sound the alarm.There are also two volume levels. One is medium-to-loud, the other is ear piercing loud, and would definitely startle intruders.Only issue I forsee is the remote - it's really handy, easy to use, and you can use it from quite some distance. However, there's no way to replace the battery in the remote control once it dies (unlike the device itself) - so, once the battery in the remote goes, you'd have to go without, or, order a new remote. Bit of a design flaw, hence 4 stars.

Easy to set up and the siren is INCREDIBLY loud. Hoping that if there’s ever a break in at my home, this will be enough to frighten them off.

Sort of OK but the battery life is poor only lasts about 3 months. I have changed batteries in both units twice in 6 months. I would not recommend these alarms.

I’ve bought 2 of these alarms. They’re great. I also have the vibration alarms on the van as a first defence. But these ones act as back ups in case the thieves actually enter the van.They work fine.Alarms are the only way to protect your tools I think. Locks and cages can all be opened and broken. Cameras don’t work on covered faces. Alarms deter and alarm us to the thieves and we have at least a chance to get out and sort the problem.

I bought this to protect the contents of a van. It ticks all the boxes. Unfortunately twice now within 24hours it randomly starts to whine inexplicably after a period of being armed. The whining is noticeably loud. I hope the manufacturer can resolve this for me?
