These are so great for measuring out the perfect espresso. I recommend them to anyone I know getting an espresso machine that doesn’t come with the cups. I love the two pouring sides! I never have to worry about spilling!

These are very nice if you want very tiny little measuring cups. The walls are proportionately thin, as is the handle, so I would be careful not to drop them. I have been having troubles finding the right size things for an espresso / cap maker I got for my birthday. These are really too small for that purpose. They really hold about 2 to 3 shots, not much liquid. I am giving 4 stars, only taking one off for perception that they may not be very rugged. I'm not going to drop it to test it, though ;)

I use one of these under a dual spout espresso portafilter. That gives me a volumetric measure of the size of an espresso shot. I find that they work very well. I doubt that the markings would survive a round in a dishwasher, so we wash them by hand. (The markings on a prior set from a different manufacturer lasted 2 dishwasher cycles.) They are made from thinner glass than the other set that I had. I prefer these because they don't chill the shot down as much as heavier glass.

I pull espresso into them daily. Having the markings helps monitor extraction and grind.
