The Diofield Chronicle - PlayStation 5

If you’re a fan of strategy role playing games then definitely pick this up. The graphics aren’t mind blowing (obviously) but the art style is great. Interesting characters and a well written story. The gameplay loop is really addicting. It’s a binge-worthy title.

I liked fighting battles and upgrading weapons, the shop and research. It is a good game but it got a little repetitive after a while. Game play is as a leader of a mercenary group.

this game was bought as a gift and they love it and no complaints so would recommend it

Love this game and the price was right.

The gameplay is like a RTS and RPG hybrid. Skill and equipment progression starts off terribly slow, but when it picks up, it gets fun for a while. Then the grind kicks in. Then the game ends.The sad thing is, that this game is only around 20 hours long for a single playthrough (with the platinum trophy easily obtainable in that timeframe.) There was hardly any time to even get attached to the characters. Important story beats are told through still pictures instead of shown through cutscenes—so there's very little to actually get you attached to the world or the characters.The ending is so abrupt and ends on a really bad feeling cliffhanger.Can't recommend this game at full price. In fact, I don't recommend it at all if you have something else you'd like to play more.

The graphics for the style are great. The tactics portion aren’t bad but mostly straight forward with a couple challenging battles. Got 100% completion (all trophies and beat every mission ) in approximately 33 hours.The problem is that it is only half or a third a game. The story goes until a reasonable amount of time but you are let thinking okay now the story is going to finally get going and the game ends on a “until next time” kinda vibe

Being a diehard fan of Final Fantasy Tactics, you cannot go wrong with this game.
