Ineffective & shoddy IMO
You get what you pay for.Yes, this thing emits adjustable, high-frequency tones when motion is detected.But I don't see that any of the target animals are changing their behavior at all as a result. So is it the correct frequency? Do these tones ever work as a deterrent, or are the results purely coincidental?Finally, the battery has such poor capacity that I suspect it's recycled or poorly sourced. There's not enough sun in a day to charge it, and charging it by the provided cord only gives it a day or two of life - when it works. The plug on the back is loose or poorly connected, so you need to push and turn and tweak it just right for the red charging light to come on... for a while anyway. It never changes color...

Didn't seem to work well
Didn't last long.... No matter what setting I had it on, cats were still coming right past it into my flower bed. Feel I wasted my money.

it does the trick, but mine broke because it is not waterproof as advertised
This really worked to keep the neighborhood cats from smelling up our front porch and potted plants. I've had it only 6 weeks and now the led section has droplets of water. the green light nor the beeping work anymore. This is kept in a covered outdoor area, so rain must have blown in on it, but the verbage says "WATERPROOF" so this is faulty. my return window has closed so I'm out $30. The cats haven't even come back in the 36 hours since it quit working!

Hit or miss
I bought this due to a horde of neighborhood cats taking a shining to my front yard as their new litter box. It has various settings and some seem to work better than others. I changed it to one that humans can also hear which is very obnoxious and annoying but it absolutely worked with the first cat who tried to walk across my lawn. However, other animals (including some of the other cats) don’t seem nearly as easily fazed by it which doesn’t give me high hopes. It’s solar powered which is fantastic, charged it up with a usb on my computer the first time and it hasn’t quit working yet despite living in a relatively rainy/cloudy environment, especially this time of year. Overall I’m satisfied with it but I’m not entirely sure which settings are best in which situations and would love if the instructions had expanded a little better on what each setting does/can be used for.

Works fine until just stops working
I bought 2. One in March that still works. The other one that I bought about 6months ago just stopped working.

This product did not work for the feral cats in my yard.
The product arrived on time and was well packaged, it just did not work to repel the cats coming into my yard. I watched a cat walk right in front of it and was not bothered by the noise. There was no bright flashing light as advertised. Squirrels and raccoons were also not bothered by the sound. I will be returning this product for a refund and try another method to rid my yard of the feral cats in the neighborhood.

For the price, not satisfied with the results
The item made high pitch noise in the begging and then no more after that. Not satisfied.
