This is my second time purchasing these. I love them! My first 2 lasted for years.

I bought this in ash blonde ginger mix bc I thought it would b the most forgiving for gray hair, died brown, and highlighted/ low lighted. I was a bit worried when ppl said it looked shiny and fake. Thought I’d b returning, but this thing is awesome. My hair is just at shoulder, a bit above when allowed to dry wavy. In Florida with super humidity and near the ocean, my hair is always frizzy even when straightened, blown dry, or air dried. Grays at 63 don’t help. So tonight we picked up amazon package from mailbox while walking the dog. Hubby says, “what’s this?” I laughed and said prob sending back, a hairpiece. Got home after being out in humidity, threw my hair in small ban, slapped this on, and he was amazed. So was I, great hair color match, looks real. Not shiny, good mix of colors, easy to stretch over bun and looks great for everyday. I’ll b using frequently.

Having thin, fine, pin-straight hair makes it impossible to pull off cute "messy bun" styles, but this piece makes is absolutely perfect! I get at least 1 compliment every time I wear it. I would only caution those that need to loop it around your ponytail twice (like myself, due to my normal hair being so darn thin) it will start to get ratty far quicker than if you only loop 1x. Thus far, my solution(s) have been to carefully maintain it between uses, or to make my own ponytail large enough that 1 loop + pins will suffice. ***EDIT/UPDATE***As with some of the other reviews, if you “twist” the piece too much when you put it on or remove it, hair will start to come loose and eventually fall out. Obviously, you can tell by the price point that these are not gonna last you years, they’re kinda...disposable? But if you’re careful, a couple months with regular use is totally doable.Also, a little hint to get the hair looking a bit more natural, and not so synthetic and shiny (I find the shininess is the easiest way to spot a fake) I just sprayed a bit of dry shampoo on it and shook it out a little. Just use sparingly as you don’t want it to get a white cast. If that happens, use a *tiny* spritz of leave-in conditioner or spray oil/frizz serum.Hope that helps!
