Good value for branded cordless chainsaw
Many Chinese cordless chainsaws are available. But have only 3 branded machines on Amazon. Black and Decker Stihl and DeWalt. The Stihl is essentially a pruner. It's tiny and cost 14 k. Whereas this Black and Decker at 9000 Rs is cheaper and has a longer blade. The DeWalt has slightly longer blade than this, but is very expensive. It cuts very well for the intended home use. The only problem is oil leak. Just don't leave oil in the reservoir. Never fill it to the brim. I think oil leak is problem with every chain saw. Just add very little oil before using or every part including the battery will be drenched in oil.

disappointingly underpowered
Disappointingly underpowered, not suited for cutting Indian wood which are most hardwoods. Battery runs out of juice very quickly and takes forever to charge, B&D should think of selling this with an extra battery or upgrading it to a 4amp one. I'm unable to find a spare battery online. You're better off buying a corded electric (which you can get at half the price for a 16in chainsaw), or if you're looking for portability, get a petrol one.

Single battery
Though reasonably a good product, I don't intend to buy this bcas they give single battery & not able to get the spare battery also. I do have a cordless drill of B & D of no use, for not able to get a spare battery.

Bon produit
Je viens de faire la découpe de planches de coffrage et lambourdes sans soucis un dizaine de longueurs. Ça coupe vraiment bien. La chaîne est à retendre de temps en temps car neuve. Se tient à une main. J'ai à couper du bois/branches loin de la prise. Je ne doute pas du produit vu la rapidité de la découpe de mes planches. La batterie est un peu longue à charger, j'en ai pris une seconde en occasion (bon état, mais elle est neuve!!!!). Produit acheté d'occasion mais juste paquet ouvert et jamais utilisé. Vos occasions sont d'excellente qualité et fonctionnent nickel, bravo, je n'ai jamais été déçu. Le produit fait vraiment gadget, mais est d'une grande efficacité. Bonne surprise.

Super produit.Petit, léger et qui coupe très bien.Parfait pour du "petit" élagage, mais le diamètre de coupe possible est impressionnant et largement suffisant pour une tronçonneuse de cette taille.Important néanmoins : Pensez à monter la chaine dans le bon sens. La mienne était pré-montée à l'envers, et ça coupe beaucoup moins bien (voir pas du tout... ça rebondit et c'est dangereux).N'hésitez pas à l'acheter si vous ne souhaitez pas vous encombrer avec un gros truc.Fuite d'huile : il n'y en a pas contrairement à ce que j'ai pu lire, et pour l'autonomie, de mon coté c'est très bien , mais avoir 2 batteries est quand même plus confortable.
