No other elastic resistive exerciser has been studied more extensively than Thera-Band bands. Thera-Band resistive exercisers have been clinically proven in use for over 30 years to improve strength, range of motion, balance, and functional activities in many different patient populations. The Thera-Band Academy also provides research and education for the use of all Thera-Band products. The exercisers are backed by the Hygenic Corporation, manufacturers of Thera-Band products. High quality exercise/resistance bands available in Yellow, Red, Green, Blue, Black and Gold in 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5 and 5.5 metre lengths (cut from roll). Thera-Band bands and produce similar forces between similar colors. The force produced by bands is directly related to elongation. Each color will provide a specific amount of resistance at the same percent elongation, regardless of initial resting length. General Safety advise as listed by manufacture: Don't use the band in any way that it may snap towards the head face or eyes. Inspect the band before each use for signs of damage or wear. Remove all jewellery to prevent damage to band or catching. If the exercise involves standing or winding band around foot check shoes for stones first to prevent damage. Do not over stretch band. If using in pools wash immediately after use. Children should not be left unsupervised while using this product. It is also recommended by the manufacture to wear eye protection as old, warn and over stretched bands can snap without warning. Care Advise: To wash, use plain water no detergent and allow to air dry. Do not place on radiators. Once dry talc can be applied if desired. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight or heat.

A gentle exercise aid
These exercise bands come in different resistance strengths with each strength having its own colour and would seem ideal for arm and shoulder work because the flat band can be grabbed in each hand and stretched in all sorts of positions to assist your exercise routine. The various strengths are generally used for progressive rehabilitation work moving up through the colours as you become stronger. However, having found an appropriate strength for you, the band can be used for regular well-being exercise routines too. We use a blue band to help control osteoarthritis in the upper body and neck. These particular bands come in 50cm lengths which is perfect for this sort of routine and the band can easily tuck into your suitcase when going away, so you have no excuse for not maintaining your gentle exercise routine.

I had a blue band from NHS physio for my shoulder and the one I bought is just as good it feels good quality and tough I was concerned that it would be a cheap copy of the NHS band but I am very much surprised and would buy it again and would recommend it.

Disappointing
I bought this item three months and 10 days ago. I have used it for less than three months and unfortunately it has snapped. I contacted the company only to be informed that it’s warranty is for three months so I would have to contact the manufacturer and prove it was faulty when it arrived. I am really disappointed in this service and quality of the product. Clearly not fit for purpose.

great for stretches and technique
This theraband length is ideal for doing home morning stretches and exercises. As an athletics shot putt coach, I also find it useful when working on the glide across the circle, keeping the shoulders square to the back and down over the driving leg.

Works out the whole body
Great to use for all all over and the resistance gives you the ability to shape your muscles especially for the upper arms. Used daily it will help increase tone and shape. Easy to pack for when you are on a break or business.

Thera-Band
I was advised to purchase the Thera-Band for physio reasons. It arrived on time and the product is exactly as I expected it to be.

Brilliant exercise aid
Found some exercises for a painful shoulder using a Thera Band and this one was brilliant and my shoulder is now cured. Have found other exercises for using a Thera Band so well worth the money. Excellent aid.
