MAGIKONBrain Teaser Cube Puzzle Toy (Secret Puzzle Drawer)

I'm not sure if my complaint falls under "giftable" or "sturdiness"?It is a great gift for someone who likes unique, quirky gifts!My only complaint is I literally got a couple of slivers the first time I tried to figure out how to open it, and there was still a bunch of wood shavings inside the different compartments.But for the price, it is great. After a quick once-over with a sanding brick, it's been a great gift. I would definitely buy it again, and again, for the price, I can't complain. It is so fun to hand it to people and watch them try to figure out how to open it!

Puzzle box appears to be made well, durable, and good looking. We have used similar puzzles to enclose gift cards at Christmas. Watching folks try to open them is much more fun than simply opening a wrapped gift. Larger of 2 drawers could be b tad wider to better accommodate a gift card. It will work, but you have to take the card out of the original holder.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is disappointing.... first of all this was a gift to someone and it arrived late and second the box is broken and a piece missing from it... this is supposed to be tricky to open but part of it is really loose and it opens by itself which makes this whole thing pointless

Cool secret/trick box. I like the secret compartment and the false plank which serves to both: keep the two compartments together via well aligned pegs, and make it more difficult to figure out HOES to get it open.Lost a star bc it was a bit rushed (planking’s askew and had to use exacto knife to clean dried glue that was pushed out from beneath plank when it was being set).Other than that

This is not impossible to open but one can figure it out. There is two drawers, one drawer leads to the main drawer so it can throw one off for a bit, but then playing around with it you find the main drawer that fits a gift card. I put something in both drawers just for the fun of it. First drawer I put a joke photo in and then put the gift card in the main drawer. Good laughs and reusable too. Durable and sturdy, it did not fall apart.

I wanted to try to open this up before gifting it to my sister. I had to use pliers and force the pieces out. Then saw the wood wasn’t sanded very well. When attempting to put it back together I saw why it was so hard to open. The only way to get the pieces back together, you have to really force them. Even then, the alignment is off and doesn’t look very pretty, streamlined and cheap. The wood is more like thumbtack board. I won’t be gifting this to anyone. It’s trash to have to put so much work into it when it’s puzzling to figure out how to open.

I absolutely love it, for the price it is excellent. For the quality and uniqueness of it I would have paid more. I like trick boxes but they always seem to be so expensive. Love the Rustic look you can't even tell it opens it was a little tight at first but after I opened it I had no problems. Someone mentioned wood chips there are a little but who cares throw them away. I was hesitant to purchase it because it was so inexpensive I thought it can't possibly be good quality. I am so glad I ordered it because I'm ordering another one for a gift I highly recommend this

The only reason I can't give this a full 5 stars is that I did have an issue initially getting this open. It was not properly sanded or brushed off before it was put together and shipped. After nearly breaking it to get it apart, you could see the toothpick sized chunks of extra wood that caused the whole thing to jam up in the first place. They were easy to remove (without removing them, it would have had the same issue again), and it worked perfectly afterwards, but it just would have been nice not to have to fight it the first time I ever opened it. Other than that it was exactly what I wanted!
