Foods with Moods: A First Book of Feelings: A First Book of Feelings (Scholastic Bookshelf)

We've had some of these board books around for years, and love the expressions you can find on the average pepper. They definitely make you look at your produce differently. This particular book, Foods With Moods, has been great for our pre-talking toddler, who likes to mimic the happy, sad, excited faces. Wonderful for expressive read-alouds, and fun to just look at, too.

I love reading this book to the kids, the eyes and fruit make it so much more entertaining to them to read and teach them about emotions

Delightful! I saw a hardback copy of this in the dr's office and was happy to find it as a board book too.

The book has some damage, including a sticker on the spine and some sticky residue on the front cover, and some of the pages are also slightly damaged.

This is the board book version of the original kids book. The original is beautifully done with a cute rhyming story. Some of the appeal is lost simply because of the condensation into a board book. I wouldn't buy this again. I would buy the original instead and choose another title if I wanted to gift a board book for babies.

I didn't realize the board book was an abbreviated version of the original, although I suppose that's typical.

Great book for young kids!

Brilliant book, recommended by my nine-year old ASD son's OT to help him recognise feelings. The expressions on the fruit and vegetables are so engaging and my son loves using it with me - not just to label but understand why people (and vegetables!) feel that way. I highly recommend it!
