I was excited to find this spice on Amazon. Could not find it anywhere near me. It meets my need and expectations. Could not ask for more.

Great addition to the pantry
My wife and I like Bolognese a lot. And most of the time, we skip making it because of the longer process. This seasoning makes things a little easier to achieve more frequently. The taste is a little on the thin side, but adding a little extra is the trick. Nice addition to our weekly rotation.

Using this seasoning takes homemade sauce up a notch. I use about double what is recommended, as the standard recipe seems a bit weak to me. YMMV.

Agree - Instant deliciousness
This is a lovely, fresh spice mix. It's plenty for many servings of sauce and very easy to use and enjoy.I just made a tomato based pasta sauce by sauteeing some onion and garlic, then adding about 1-2 TBS of this mix to the sautee just to warm and release the flavor of the spices for 30 seconds - immediately it smelled great. Then added to a tomato puree and - voila! - sauce in about 20 min. Let it heat long enough to incorporate the flavors and then served.Totally delicious and plenty easy. A great way to go if you need to zest up an existing sauce or you want to make your own.

Great in pasta sauce
Ever want to make your own pasta sauce? Really bad at mixing ingredients? This stuff can help you. I made some sauce, and used mostly just this for seasoning (not counting the garlic that I sautéed with the onions, obviously. Pasta sauce with no fresh garlic? My Italian ancestors would haunt me!) The sauce I made came out pretty good.You do want to actually cook this stuff. It's not going to be good just tossed on some bread. That's just because there are a lot of dried ingredients in there. That's not unique to this.It's good just dumped on some pasta that is cooking too. I made some pasta with olive oil and garlic, and put some of this in the onions I was cooking, and it definitely improved it.

Will expired 5 month !
Nice spice pack - unfortunately it will expire in 5 month. Not enough time for me all to use it.Hoped for a longer expiration date !!!
