Great shaver
My husband was very happy with the quality, shaving time and smoothness. It was easy to use with no skin irritation. He shaves dry and says it's easy to clean. It was a great value especially with the extra set of blades. It came with a beard attachment but he only has a mustache so hasn't used it. It came with a case but no charging stand. I was glad it came with a plug in charging cord instead of like some that only had a USB plug in capability. The charge lasted a long time.

Incredible improvement over 20+ year old razor.
I had read many shaver reviews to figure out what I wanted. One of them did a comparison of all current Norelco shavers. Put the 5000 series as a mid range, the 6000 being essentially the same, only the 'options' being different. I went with the 6000 as it included an extra set of blades - a $35ish value.I had been using an old Norelco 8160 or something like that. Can't tell you how much better the new razor is. It shaves closer, is more comfortable and quieter. If you are umming and arring over whether or not to replace an older unit, my sincere advice is "Don' Wait". I should have done this years ago!!

Excellent product at a good price
I bought this as a gift for my husband. It has been many years since he used an electric razor. He is absolutely delighted with this. No noise or very little, excellent smooth shave, excellent quality, very easy to clean with the brush provided and charging speed very good. He now wonders why he did not get one years ago. I would definitely recommend this product as it is well worth the price and it also comes with a lovely case, brush and extra heads so very good value for money. Just get it you won't be disappointed. I did a lot of research before I bought this one but I feel I picked an excellent electric razor.

It's a Norelco
I've been buying Norelco shavers for a very long time. They all have been very reliable, including battery life. I have a light beard, and that may be a factor in their longevity. I had one razor that seemed to be loosing its recharge ability, so I took it to our cabin, where it continues to serve me 10 years later.Last fall, I had my newest razor stolen. So, it was back to buy a new Norelco. This razor has a smoother glide over the skin and does follow face contours better than my last one. It shaves closer than the previous generation. Very satisfied with this aspect of the razor. However, I do miss the pop-up trimmer my previous Norelcos had. In buying tis latest one, I missed the point that I had to physically replace the razor head with the trimmer head. While not difficult, it is an extra effort to locate the trimmer head, install it, and then after trimming, re-install the razor head. Again, not hard to do, it is just extra steps. For a light beard, I typically only replace the cutting blades and foils every 18-24 months. A charge on this razor lasts about 2 weeks.

GREAT and close shave..!!
Used a Braun shaver and honestly it was junk. I rubbed my face over and over when trying to shave with it. Decided to replace it with this Norelco model. This razor is GREAT!GREAT and very close shave and well worth the money. The Braun shave which was fairly new went into the trash.

The Norelco 6600 is mediocre at best
Mediocre at best. Here's why:1. There is no pop-up trimmer. That is false advertising.2. Given the head design, it is not possible to shave close around the nose.3. The plug-in trimmer is very loud; it vibrates excessively; and is annoying.4. The plastic protective covering for the plug-in trimmer is very difficult to remove.5. The rotary blades rattle and vibrate.6. The shaver must be charged from its own charger. There is no USB port. So, for traveling, I have one more item to take along. There was one positive point. The shaver gave me a very comfortable shave with minimal pinching and pulling, although it was not a particularly close shave. BTW, I got five shaves per charge--not bad.Overall, the shaver is mediocre in my opinion. It is certainly not worth $100. Several no-name shavers give as good or better performance, with better features, for half that amount. My grandson broke his shaver last week. I gave him this one. I am buying myself a Panasonic.
