What's most important about these dental wipes is that my dog tolerates having his teeth cleaned with them, and he does.This is the second set of dental wipes I have purchased from Amazon recently, the other one being SmileDenX Dog Dental Care Finger Wipes. They are very similar, but there are a few differences. These ones are significantly cheaper. They come in a smaller jar and are really crammed in there, whereas the other brand had the wipes neatly arranged. There is a very slight size difference, with these ones being the smaller. If you have larger fingers, you may have trouble fitting these on. I generally wear a size M glove and can get these on with just a little bit of wiggle room. I've personally taste-tested both brands (don't want to stick anything in my pet's mouth without vetting it!) and found that these ones have a slightly sweet taste, while the SmileDenX ones are basically flavorless. My dog seems to tolerate both brands equally well. I have not noticed a significant difference in his breath between brands (it's always gross, no matter how much I try to clean his teeth).In short, I'd recommend these dental wipes as an affordable option for keeping your pet's mouth clean, with the caveat that you may be losing some of the bonuses of a slightly higher priced option.Unsolicited pro tip: If your dog has a really nasty mouth (cocker spaniels, I'm looking at you!) it is really a boon to wear disposable gloves under these dental wipes, because you will get slobber on your hands, and the gloves make the chore slightly less disgusting.

Doesn't seem to do much you need skinny fingers to use them

Keeping up with four dogs is no joke but these help to get some gunk off their teeth and keep their breath a tad fresher. Would recommend for any pet owner. I also monitored my dogs and none seemed to have any sensitivity to it or reaction. Simple and a good travel size as well.

I got this for my cats. I should have looked at the ingredients before purchasing, but the ingredients on the container differ from the ingredients on this page. On the Amazon page, peppermint extract is listed as an ingredient. However, on the container, peppermint extract is not listed, and tea tree extract is listed instead. Both tea tree and peppermint are toxic to cats. I don't know if extracts are less toxic or not toxic at all, but I didn't want to gamble and see. Also, the ingredients on the container were hard to read, even with my reading glasses on. So a little FYI: If you intend to get this for your cat, do your research on the ingredients first, before buying.

My senior cat has dental problems. I need to clean his teeth, but he will not tolerate brushing. Dental wipes are a good solution.The wipes come in a small jar and are soaked in tooth cleaning solution. My cat tolerates the taste reasonably well. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the wipes are quite small. I have small hands, so they fit snugly on my fingers, but those who have large, or even medium-sized hands may not be able to use them. The texture is helpful in removing food particles, and the cleaning solution does a good job without being too abrasive. The wipes are packed firmly in the jar, so it can be a challenge sometimes to remove just one. That being said, they're worth the effort.

My puppy LOVES to chew - my fingers, chew toys, ropes, etc., so finding something to teach her that this is not a thing to chew is awesome. She sits nicely and lets me "brush" her teeth. We've added this as part of her bath routine. Great product!
