I ordered these for my 1 year old who gets restless while I am in the kitchen cooking or cleaning. She is very much a velcro baby and likes to be attached to me frequently. With that said sometimes I just cannot hold her or keep her in a babywearing carrier while I am cooking. My husband and I are also big on getting kiddos in the kitchen early.I bought similar a product for my middle kiddo when he was 4 and my nephew when he turned 3.There was a big difference in this item compared to the previous ones I purchased from another seller. These seem far sturdier and included more items for a better price point!I tested out the items today and oh my gosh- they work so well! My 1 year old can easily hold the wooden cutting knife, the sandwich cutter, the waffle cutter, the shapes cutter, the cutting boards, the knives, and the food picks. The cut proof gloves are great for my sanity honestly. I put my 1 year old in her high chair and let her use some of the items in this kit while I prepared dinner with my 8 year old soon. My 5 and 7 year old love helping in the kitchen but have been pretty limited on what they can do outside of using a butter knife.Packaging-Everything was packaged really well and convenient (I removed most things from their packaging for the original photo, I’ll probably add more photos later) little plastic bags with the sticky seal, I was able to reseal them after opening them (I resealed the fruit cutters because I didn’t want them getting lost) The box it comes in is handy for me to store away until we use it. Might even use it to keep all of their tools organized. All of the pieces are here!Appearance-The colors are vibrant and just as pictured! One of the cutting boards does have this weird raised spot but it doesn’t affect it at all and I am not bothered by it. At first glance, these things don’t look like they’d do much but after looking at the reviews again and then going back and looking at the tools, I do notice they seem like they could do more than they look like they could.Use-I haven’t used these yet but will plan to make Pb&J and clean and cut some produce. So we will see! I think as long as they work fairly well, my kids will love them and be even more excited to help out in the kitchen.These are great quality, look safe and seem like they would clean well. Definitely good for ages 2+, we just started a little late! Lol

This little knife set was probably the best thing I've ever got for my child. It works great for me as an adult when I cut things. My child uses the knives and she does not cut herself at all. This is the best product invented for children who love to cook with you.

Love the variety of items. The kids are more helpful now that they have their own kitchen tools. Just wish the cutting board was wood instead of plastic.

I got this for my daughter who just turned 4 who wants to be a chef when she grows up. Both my four year old and six year old are enjoying using the set and it's helping build both life skills and fine motor skills. It's pretty awesome when they can cut the cheese for their own cheese and crackers. The shaped cutters are a little tricky to remove items from. Some items are a bit awkward to store but thats a small price for the skills being built.

My son loves cutting and this is awesome. cuts potatoes well and fun to play with

We love this knife set! We got it for my 3-year-old. He has used it on apples, cucumbers, carrots, and more. The peeler works well and is easy for him to use. All of the knives also are great and hard to cut yourself with. It does come with cutting gloves, and I would make sure kids use these, especially when cutting harder items as the force could still injure fingers. The set has also been durable and we’ve even put the knives and cutting boards (not the other items) I’m the dishwasher. I love the variety for the price. I would definitely consider this set again.Just as a note for parents, the fruit cutters have a hole in the top of them to help push out the fruit pieces. Make sure to give kids something to use to push the pieces out. The hole is just the right size for little fingers to get stuck.This product should also always be used with adult supervision. It is not a toy set. It is a real knife and kitchen set designed for children.
